in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said Native school; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 10 acres. Being Section 1 (S.O. 18362), Block VII, Ruatahuna Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38315, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon bordered purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities from the State Advances Department.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section twenty-six, subsection one, of the Appropriation Act, 1915, it is provided that, notwithstanding any Act to the contrary, it shall not be lawful or competent for any local authority or for any Harbour Board, during the present war with Germany, to borrow or contract to borrow any money (otherwise than by way of bank overdraft within the limits of its powers, if any, in that behalf) whether from the State Advances Office or from any other source whatever, and whether in pursuance of a special Act or under any other authority whatever, without the precedent consent of the Governor in Council:
And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the loans set out in column B therein from the State Advances Office:
And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor in Council should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the borrowing from the State Advances Department of the loans hereinbefore mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto; and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Appropriation Act, 1915, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the raising of the loans hereby authorized.

Consenting to stopping a Road in Block XVI, Nukumaru Survey District, Waitotara County.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Waitotara County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the road described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waitotara County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 2 acres 0 roods 0·9 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lot 2 on D.P. 2831, being part of Original Sections 120 and 119, and 99, and part Sections 99 and 120 (Right Bank Wanganui River R.D.).
