Consenting to the Establishment of a Toll-gate on Summit
Road, Heathcote County.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth
day of November, 1915.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Heathcote County
Council establishing a toll-gate on the Summit Road about
one chain south of its junction with Dyers Pass Road in the
Heathcote County. As the site of the said toll-gate is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39101,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon
coloured red.

Declaring Portions of Roads in Blocks III and IV, Cromwell
Survey District, to be Government Roads.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
Government roads.

Westland County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in

of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Westland Land District,
Westland County, known as Old Christchurch Road, commencing at its junction with the Kumara—Otira Road,
adjoining Section 1379, Block I, Turiwhate Survey District,
and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally
for a distance of 2 miles 40 chains, more or less, terminating
at its junction with Loopline Road, adjoining Section 1356,
Block IV, Kanieri Survey District. As the said portion of
road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 39035, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington,
and thereon coloured red and marked A B.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Geraldine
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth
day of November, 1915.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to
time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act,
control of any public domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eleventh
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the sixteenth day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and eight, a Domain Board
was appointed to control the Geraldine Domain :

And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the tenth day of April, one thousand
nine hundred and fifteen :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred
