Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
THE ONSLOW BOROUGH COUNCIL
to be the Khandallah Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at forty-five minutes past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Onslow Borough Council Office, Wellington, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
KHANDALLAH DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 31 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Allotments Nos. 2 and 3 of Sections Nos. 1 and 2, Porirua District, situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Allotment No. 1 and a public road; towards the south-east by Allotments Nos. 47 and 46 and a public road; towards the south-west by Allotment No. 4; and towards the north-west by Section No. 128, Block III, Port Nicholson Survey District: and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 88, folio 198, Wellington.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1915.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, appointing a Domain Board to have control of the Tauranga Domain, and doth hereby appoint
HIS WORSHIP THE MAYOR OF TAURANGA (ex officio),
JOSEPH DENHAM BRAIN,
SAMUEL PEMBER TON,
HENRY AUGUSTUS SHARP,
GERARD ARNOLD WARD, and
WILLIAM THOMAS TEASEY
to be the Tauranga Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of Messrs. Tudehope and Sharp at Tauranga as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
TAURANGA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 7 acres 1 rood 21 perches, more or less, being Section 273 of Section 1, Town of Tauranga. Bounded towards the north-west by McLean Street, 1098 links; towards the north-east by Cameron Road, 711 links; towards the south-east by Hamilton Street, 957 links; and towards the south-west by the Waikareao Estuary, 725 links.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 8 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 393 of Section 1, Town of Tauranga. Bounded towards the north-west by Brown Street, 1000 links; towards the north-east by Cameron Road, 1100 links; towards the south-east by McLean Street, 1114 links; and towards the south-west by the Waikareao Estuary, 590 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/388, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Exempting Natives from the Provisions of the Native Land Act, 1909, with respect to Landless Natives, and consenting to the Confirmation of an Alienation by the Maori Land Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four hundred and twenty-five of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that—
- The Governor may by Order in Council, in any case in which he thinks it expedient so to do, consent to the confirmation of any alienation, or to the confirmation of any resolution of assembled owners, or to any purchase by the Native Land Purchase Board, or to any exchange of Native land, notwithstanding the fact that any Native may thereby become landless within the meaning of this Act; and thereupon the said confirmation, purchase, or exchange may take place, and shall have effect in the same manner as if that Native retained Native freehold land sufficiently for his adequate maintenance.
- No such consent shall be given except on the recommendation of the Native Land Court or of the Maori Land Board of the district in which the land is situated.
- No such consent shall be given unless the Governor is satisfied that the said Native is able to maintain himself by his own means or labour, and that the transaction consented to is not contrary to public interest:
And whereas, to enable confirmation of a sale by the owners of Pukeuha C No. 2 Block, the Waikato-Maniapoto District Maori Land Board recommends that such consent shall be given: And whereas it is expedient so to do:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby consent to the confirmation of the aforesaid sale, notwithstanding the fact that the Natives may thereby become landless within the meaning of the said Act. And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.

Recreation Reserves in Taranaki Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1915.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Taranaki Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserves shall hereafter form part of Ohura Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Ohura Domain Board.

As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/575A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a public recreation-ground.
