“the regulations,” hereby authorize the licensee to erect
and maintain electric lines for lighting, power, and heating
purposes within the area of supply hereinafter described.

SCHEDULE.

  1. AREA OF SUPPLY.

THE area of supply comprises the late Remuera Road District, now amalgamated with the City of Auckland by Order
in Council dated the 26th day of February, 1915, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 26th day of February,
1915, together with the Epsom Road District as at present
constituted, as indicated by a distinctive border coloured
red on P.W.D. 38129, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, Wellington, in the Provincial District of
Wellington.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.

The system of supply shall be as described in the original
license issued to the licensee dated the 1st day of March,
1915, and published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the
11th day of March, 1915.

  1. NOTICES re EXTENSIONS, ETC.

Records of results of tests (Regulation 37), and notices re
commencement of work (Regulation 44) and re extensions
and alterations (Regulation 49), should be sent to the Public
Works Engineer at present stationed at Auckland, and to
the Telegraph Engineer of the district, or his deputy, at
present stationed at Auckland.

  1. DURATION OF LICENSE.

This license shall expire on the same date as the original
license hereinbefore referred to.

Recreation Reserve in Wellington Land District brought under
Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twentieth day
of September, 1915.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me
by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and
declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land
District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the
same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act;
and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Carnival Park
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as
a public domain.

SCHEDULE.

CARNIVAL PARK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by
admeasurement 15 acres 1 rood 39 perches, more or less,
being Lots 1 and 4 of Section No. 27, Block VIII, Mangahao
Survey District, on plan No. 3223, deposited in the office of
the District Land Registrar at Wellington. Bounded towards
the north-east by other part of Section No. 27, 1834·2 links ;
towards the south-east by Glasgow Street, 775 links ; towards
the south generally by other part of the said Section No. 27,
1404·7 links ; and towards the west by Section No. 2, Block
VIII aforesaid, 1383·6 links.

Vesting a Cemetery Reserve in the Auckland City Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh
day of September, 1915.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart for a public cemetery :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient
to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the City of Auckland :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and
in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him
by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of
the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto
shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the City of Auckland, in trust, for a public cemetery.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
123 acres 0 roods 1·5 perches, more or less, being Allotment
248, Parish of Waikomiti. Bounded towards the north-east
by Allotment 248A, Parish of Waikomiti, 4593 links ; towards the south-east and again towards the north-east by a
public road, 2432·5 links and 794·6 links respectively ; towards the south-west generally by a public road forming the
north-eastern boundary of Waikumete Railway Station, the
crossing of a public road, by the aforesaid road, the crossing of
the Auckland–Kaipara Railway, by a public road forming the
north-eastern boundary of Allotment 13 of the aforesaid
parish, and by that allotment, 879·4, 1205·8, 233·1, 196·9,
250·3, 313·4, 244·4, 988·8, and 44 links ; and thence by the
Oratia Stream ; and towards the north-west by Allotment
248A aforesaid, the crossing of the Auckland–Kaipara Railway, by the aforesaid allotment, across a road, by the aforesaid
allotment, across a road, and again by the aforesaid allotment, 533, 303·6, and 2496 links : be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less : save and excepting the railway and road
intersecting the above-described area. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. II/34, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green. (Auckland Plans 17726,

Wairoa County Council declared a Leasing Authority under
the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh
day of September, 1915.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Wairoa County Council is a body of
persons having power to lease lands held in trust,
reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested
the Governor in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority
within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908 :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such request,
and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by the
above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby order and declare that the Wairoa County Council is
a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’
Leases Act, 1908.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of Portion of
a Reserve in Maungakaretu Survey District, Wellington
Land District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the Public Reserves and Domains Act
1908, it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change, exchange, or alter
the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested
in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes
named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act,
whether the same be granted or not ; and in the case of any
reserve made under the authority of section three hundred
and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, if it shall, in the
opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose
for which such reserve was set apart to any other purpose,
or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient
to exchange any of the land comprised in such reserve for
other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one or more
of the purposes named in the said Class II, the Governor
may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or
dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare
the manner and terms in which the same is intended to
be so made :
