the Kiritehere Road, the said Awakino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waipawa Special-rating Area as described in the New Zealand Gazette (No. 58) of the 18th June, 1914 (page 2506); and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was made and passed at an ordinary meeting of the Awakino County Council held on Saturday, the 28th August, 1915.

HAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL.
PRINCES STREET SOUTH AND GEORGE STREET LOAN.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hawera County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Hawera County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing Princes Street South (that is to say, from the Manawapou Road to its terminus at Section 217, Block 9, Hawera) and George Street from Princes Street South to the Tawhiti Road, the said Hawera County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special-rating area comprising Subs. 12/15 inclusive, and 24/37 inclusive, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 51, 52, 54, parts Subs. 53 and 55, Subs. 56, 58, 60, 62, 64, 66, 68, 70, and 72 (part), all being parts of Section 216, Block 9, Hawera Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Hawera County Council held on the 9th day of September, 1915.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between us the undersigned, and carried on by us as Booksellers and Stationers at 19 Commerce Street, Auckland, under the name or style of “The Northern Book-stall Company,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The undersigned WILLIAM HECTOR MOUATT will continue to carry on the business as formerly, and will receive payment of all accounts due to the late firm, and pay all liabilities of such firm.

EUREKA MARGARINE COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND (LIMITED).
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened for Monday, the 6th day of September, 1915, at noon, adjourned for want of a quorum, and held at the company’s registered offices, Union Buildings, Customs Street East, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 7th day of September, 1915, at 10.30 a.m., the following extraordinary resolution was carried unanimously:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that GEORGE L. GLADDING, of Auckland, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges of a loan of eight hundred and fifty pounds, authorized to be raised by the Piako County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of land drainage in the Piakoti Special Drainage District, the Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound upon the unimproved value of all the rateable property of the Piakoti Special Drainage District, comprising all that area of land commencing at a point where Hutchinson’s Road junctions with the railway-line, along Hutchinson’s Road in a southerly direction to the Walton–Kiwitahi Road; thence by a right line southerly across the old Landsdown Estate, and along the eastern boundaries of Messrs. C. Smith’s and W. Mapp’s sections to a point on a road running easterly from the Piakoti Road, 45 chains east from the junction of the two roads; thence by a right line in a south-westerly direction to a point on the southern boundary of Section 10, Richmond Downs Estate, 20 chains west from its south-east corner; thence by a right line southerly to a point 60 chains west of the south-east corner of Section 1 of Richmond Downs Estate; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Section 1, and along the southern boundary of Section 2, Richmond Downs Estate, for a distance of 108 chains; thence by a right line northerly to a point 40 chains from the south-eastern corner of Section 4, Richmond Downs Estate; thence by a right line northerly to a point on road along southern boundary of Lot 1, Section 7, Richmond Downs Estate, 18 chains west of south-east corner of said Lot 1; thence along such road westerly to the western boundary of said Lot 1; thence in a northerly direction to road between said Lot 1 and Lot 2 of 11, Richmond Downs Estate; thence along such road in a westerly direction to the western boundary of Section 11, Richmond Downs Estate, along the western boundaries of Sections 11 and 12 of the said estate to Section 11, Te Pae Ote Rawaru; thence westerly along the southern boundary of said Section 11, Te Pae Ote Rawaru, to road running across this section, along this road in a north-easterly direction to the Walton–Kiwitahi Road, along the Walton–Kiwitahi Road in a westerly direction to the western boundary of Mrs. M. J. Palmer’s property described as north portion of Kiwitahi No. 1A, along the western boundary of such property in a northerly direction to the railway-line, which along in a southerly and easterly direction to the point of commencement. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of April and October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Piako County Council at a meeting held on the 18th day of August, 1915.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seven thousand five hundred pounds (£7,500), authorized to be raised by the Hamilton Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following purposes:—
(a.) To provide and place additional water-pipes, with all necessary fittings and appliances for the supply of water, in that part of the Borough of Hamilton which was included in the borough on the 30th day of September, 1912, including all necessary materials, appliances, labour, and supervision, £7,000; and
