and the first year’s interest thereon, hereby authorizes the raising of a special loan of nine hundred pounds (£900) at the rate of 4½ per cent. per annum for a period of thirty-six years and a half; and that such special loan be raised through the State Advances Office, such loan to be secured by a special rate of ⅔d. in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the whole of the Panmure Township Road District.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Panmure Township Road Board at a special meeting on the 19th day of May, 1915, and confirmed on the 23rd day of June, 1915, and in accordance with the Road Boards Act, 1908.

WEBER COUNTY COUNCIL.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan of £10,000.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give public notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Weber taken on the 27th day of July, 1915, on the proposal to raise a loan of £10,000 for the purpose of reforming and metalling roads in the said county, the voting resulted as follows: For the proposal, 132 votes; against the proposal, 35 votes; informal, 1 vote.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.

Taurau Valley Loan Poll.

I HEREBY give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Taurau Valley Special-rating district held on Friday, 28th August, 1914, upon a proposal by this Council to raise a loan of £700 for metalling the Taurau Valley Road, the following votes were recorded: For the proposal, 27 votes; against the proposal, 18 votes; informal, 3 votes.

As twenty-seven votes represent three-fifths of the valid votes recorded, I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.
