    {Prohibitions.—Same as Turkey (British offices).\nObservations.—“ Austrian Agency ” should form part of the address. All parcels must be sealed. Parcels packed in cardboard or paper only, except linen-faced paper, will not be accepted for transmission. Austrian Agencies are maintained at Alexandretta, Caifa (Haifa), Cavalla, Dardanelles, Dedeagh, Durazzo Ineboli, Jaffa, Jerusalem, Keresun, Mersina, Mytilene, Prevesa, Rhodes, Samsoun, San Giovanni di Medua, Santi Quaranta (for Janina), Scio, Scutari d’Albanie, Trebizond, Tripoli (Syria), Valona, Vathi (Samos). For Crete, see separate entry. Parcels for Janina must be claimed at the Customhouse, Santi Quaranta ; and parcels for Jerusalem at the Customhouse, Jaffa} |

Parcels for Ottoman Post-offices in Asia which do not measure more than 8 in. in depth or breadth may be as much as 3 ft. 3 in. in length.
