THE following special order, made by the Ormond Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Ormond Road Board held on Monday, the 16th day of November, 1914, the following resolution was passed, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the Board held on the 16th day of December, 1914 :—
RESOLUTION.
In exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, the Ormond Road Board hereby resolves and declares, by way of special order, that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereto, being a plant mentioned in the Third Schedule to the said Act, as extended from time to time by the Governor in Council, is a noxious weed within the Road District of Ormond.

WAVERLEY TOWN BOARD.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 17th day of December, 1914, a poll of the ratepayers of the Waverley Town District was duly held and taken upon the proposal of the Waverley Town Board to raise a special loan of £4,780, under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the following purposes : To extend and complete plant and machinery for and the installation of an electric lighting and power undertaking, and motive power and other uses and purposes, within and without the Township of Waverley, and the acquisition of meters and connections, and to extend and complete the construction of waterworks within the meaning of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and its amendments, (including reticulation) within and without the Township of Waverley ; building new dam and preparing site, fencing of catchwater area, and also acquisition of engine for pumping purposes, engineering and contingencies (including compensation, if any, for lands injuriously affected) ; and for the purpose of paying and defraying the cost of raising the loan, and interest and sinking fund for the first year.
At such poll the number of votes recorded was as follows : For the proposal, 119 ; against the proposal, 19 ; informal, 2. Therefore I declare the said proposal to be carried.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.
I HEREBY give public notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Te Kuiti duly taken on Friday, the 16th October, 1914, upon the proposal of the Te Kuiti Borough Council to raise a special loan of two thousand pounds (£2,000), under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of meeting the Council’s undertaking with the Audit Department to refund a sum of £1,000 to Loan Account No. 2—for the repayment of the original stone-crusher and road-roller, repaying cost of second stone-crusher and fittings, also quarry land at Te Kumi, not authorized in Loan No. 5 schedule, and now taken exception to by the
