IN exercise and pursuance of the power and authority conferred by section twenty-nine of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

to be a Conciliation Commissioner under and for the purposes of Part III of the said Act, and to exercise jurisdiction within the Northern and Taranaki Industrial Districts. Appointment to date from the twenty-second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Waiotahi Creek School Reserve.—Provisions of the Mining Act, 1908, brought into Operation.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Mining Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette, the provisions of the Mining Act, 1908, shall be in force over the Waiotahi Creek School Reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, situated within the watershed of the Waiotahi Creek. Bounded northerly by lines bearing 111° 12′, 289 links; easterly, 189° 26′, 109·5 links; southerly by land formerly known as Payne’s residence-site, now abandoned, and by unoccupied ground; westerly by a line 16 ft. 3 in. from and parallel to a line formerly the middle-line of the Government tramway, now removed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.
