A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws
Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things,
enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended
under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in con-
nection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart
for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation
in that behalf :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power
and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the pur-
poses of the aforesaid Act, I, Arthur William de Brito
Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the
Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the fifth section of the Land
Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling
me in that behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby revoke the Proclamation of the tenth day of
December, one thousand nine hundred and ten, in so far as
it relates to Section 6, Otoko Village Settlement, Hawke’s
Bay Land District, containing 1 rood 10·6 perches; and do
declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the
said land shall be and is hereby withdrawn from disposal
on village-settlement conditions.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the
Purposes of a Road in the Spring Creek Road District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms part of land taken for the purposes of the
Picton-Hurunui Railway, and it is considered desirable to
allocate such land to the purposes of a road :
And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of
Railways that such land is not required for railway
purposes: And whereas such land is situated in the
Spring Creek Road District, the local authority of which
has assented to the issue of this Proclamation :
And whereas His Excellency the Governor is of opinion
that the said local authority can conveniently construct
and maintain the said road :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand
Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be
under the control of the Spring Creek Road Board, and
shall be maintained by the said Board in like manner as
other public highways are controlled and maintained by
the said Board.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 5 acres 1 rood
13 perches.
Portion of railway reserve (S.O.R. 271).
Situated in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Spring
Creek Road District.
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 21663,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured pink.
