Regulations under Section 63 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1914.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations; and doth declare that those regulations shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

REGULATIONS.

  1. The term of any loan granted under the authority of the said Act shall be forty-two years and a half.
  2. The principal and interest of every such loan shall be payable by half-yearly instalments, in accordance with the table contained in the Schedule hereto.

Term, 42½ years. Interest, 4½ per cent.

Vesting a Reserve in the Geraldine Road Board.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1914.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a gravel-pit: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Corporation of the Geraldine Road District:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Corporation of the Geraldine Road District, in trust, as a gravel-pit.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 1299 (in red), Borough of Geraldine. Bounded towards the north-west by the Kakahu Road, 891 links; towards the east by Rural Section 8904, 850 links; towards the south by Rural Section 14599, about 818 links to the west bank of the old river-bed; and towards the west by the west bank of the old
