Bounded towards the north-east and south-east generally by Heatherlea Road East, 903·3 links and 897·7 links; by the crossing of that road; by Subdivision No. 20A of the Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7D No. 3 Block aforesaid, 797·3 links; by Subdivision No. 9 of the Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7B Block, 253·4 links; by the crossing of Heatherlea Road East; again by Subdivision No. 9 aforesaid, and by Subdivisions Nos. 5 and 6 of the Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7C Block, 3644·9 links and 4055·4 links; and by Arapaepae Road, 5047 links: towards the south-west by Rosslyn Road, 9239 links: and towards the west and north-west generally by the Wellington–Manawatu Railway line, 1594·7 links and 806·3 links; by Subdivision No. 2 of the Horowhenua 3A Block, 4823·8 links, 2197·9 links, and 424·1 links; and by Subdivision No. 19 of the Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7D No. 3 Block, 1862·5 links and 2536·8 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on a plan marked 19455, and thereon bordered red.

Notifying Land in the Taranaki Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1908.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1908, and its amendments, I hereby notify that the undermentioned Crown land, being the land known as the Tariki Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Acts, is subject to the said Acts as from the 30th April, 1913.
SCHEDULE.
TARIKI SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 752 acres 3 roods 26 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections Nos. 284 and 285, Moa District, Block V, Huiroa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by other parts of Sections Nos. 284 and 285, Moa District, 3322·8 links; towards the east generally by the Manganui River; towards the south by the Manganui River, and by Section 283, Moa District, 5343·9 links; and towards the west generally by the Ross Road, 6651·9 links, and by the Mangamawhete Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19445, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Notice cancelling Forfeiture of John McLoughlin’s Lease of Section 7, Block XV, Waikohu Survey District (Ngatapa Settlement).

Wellington, 6th April, 1914.
WHEREAS the Land Board of the Hawke’s Bay Land District, by resolution on the 14th day of March, 1913, forfeited the interest of John McLoughlin in his lease, registered in Volume 54, folio 196, Poverty Bay Land Registry Office, over Section No. 7, Block XV, Waikohu Survey District (Ngatapa Settlement), in the said land district, for non-compliance with the residential conditions of his lease; and notice of such forfeiture was duly published in the Gazette of the 15th day of May, 1913:
And whereas by section 28 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1913, the Minister of Lands was empowered, by notice in the Gazette, to cancel the said forfeiture:
Now, therefore, I, William Ferguson Massey, Minister of Lands, do hereby cancel the forfeiture of the lease of the said John McLoughlin over the said land, and notify that the forfeiture of such lease shall be deemed to be wholly waived and abandoned, and the said lease, and all mort-
gages or encumbrances affecting the same, shall take effect and be deemed to have continued to have effect as if no such forfeiture had occurred or been declared. The District Land Registrar, on receipt of a copy of the Gazette containing this notice, shall make such entries in the Register as are necessary to give effect to the same.

Varied Notice fixing Closing-hours of all Shops in the Borough of Pahiatua under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the shops in the Borough of Pahiatua, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all shops in the borough shall be closed in the evening of Thursday, the 9th April, 1914, at 9 p.m.:
And whereas the Pahiatua Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the shops within the Borough of Pahiatua:
Now, therefore, I, William Ferguson Massey, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that on Thursday, 9th April, 1914, all shops in the Borough of Pahiatua shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.
The notice gazetted on 22nd June, 1905, fixing the closing-hours of all shops, is hereby varied accordingly.

Varied Notice (No. 3) fixing Closing-hours of Grocers’ Shops in the Borough of Invercargill under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the grocers’ shops in the Borough of Invercargill, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the borough shall be closed in the evening of Thursday, the 9th April, 1914, at 9 p.m.:
And whereas the Invercargill Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the grocers’ shops within the borough:
Now, therefore, I, William Ferguson Massey, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that on the 9th day of April, 1914, all grocers’ shops in the Borough of Invercargill shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.
The notice gazetted on 6th October, 1910, fixing the closing-hours of all such shops is hereby varied accordingly.

Notice of Appointing the First Meeting of Whangarei Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section 28 of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, I, Robert Heaton Rhodes, Minister in charge of the administration of the said Act, do hereby appoint that the first meeting of the Whangarei Hospital and Charitable Aid Board shall be held at the office of the late Marsden-Kaipara Hospital and Charitable Aid Board at 2 p.m. on Thursday, 16th April, 1914.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section 28 of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, I, Robert Heaton Rhodes, Minister in charge of the administration of the said Act, do hereby appoint that the first meeting of the Kaipara Hospital and Charitable Aid Board shall be held at the office of the Hobson County Council at 2 p.m. on Friday, 24th April, 1914.
