Notifying Lands in Hawke’s Bay Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Saturday, the sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Sections 1 to 19, Block VI, all good, flat business-sites, situated in the centre of the town, and on the main road. Sections 6 to 10, Block IX, consist of flat land in grass and are good building-sites.

Clive Suburban Section 3, Block III, Clive Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-west by the Tukituki River; towards the north-east by Clive Suburban Section 4 for a distance of 356-9 links; towards the south-east by a closed road for a distance of 510 links; and towards the south-west by a public road for a distance of 13 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. XXII/23, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 25-5 perches, more or less, being Clive Suburban Section 4 and part of closed road, Block III, (Clive Survey District). Bounded towards the north-west by the Tukituki River; towards the north-east generally by Sections 7, 6, and 5 for a distance of 560 links, and by a closed road for distances of 7-5 and 20 links; towards the south-east by a closed road and the abutment of a public road for a distance of 190 links; and towards the south-west by a closed road and Clive Suburban Section 3 for a distance of 416-9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. XXII/23, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

to be a Trustee, in the place of John Craig, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Owaka Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Robert McLean, Alexander Clark Saunders, Thomas Barr, and Alexander Adam, jun., previously appointed.

to be a Trustee, in the place of John Cagney, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Oamaru Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Allan Hedley, Willoughby Crichton McDouall, Richard Penfold, Andrew Fraser, and Samuel Michael Harding Grenfell, previously appointed.

Notifying the Proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District for other Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and forty-two of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land which is subject to the provisions of the said Act in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land which in his opinion is of approximately equal value:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare that it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the land described in the Second Schedule.
