Te Puke Town District not to be Part of County of Tauranga.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of February, 1914.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE J. ALLEN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Governor is satisfied that the population of the Te Puke Town District, in the County of Tauranga, exceeds five hundred, and the Town Board of the said Te Puke Town District has made application that the said town district shall not form part of the County of Tauranga, being the county within the boundaries of which it is situated :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1908 (No. 2), and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that, on and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the Te Puke Town District shall not form part of the County of Tauranga.

Whakatane Harbour Board declared a Leasing Authority under the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.

THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Whakatane Harbour Board is a body of persons having power to lease land held in trust, set apart, or reserved for public purposes, and has requested the Governor in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Whakatane Harbour Board is a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.

WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor, by Order in Council gazetted, may, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908 :
And whereas the Land Board of the Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of the Marsden Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule hereto be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Marsden Kauri-gum Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 200 acres, more or less, being Allotment No. 73, Ruakaka Parish, part of Marsden Kauri-gum Reserve, Whangarei County, set apart by Order in Council dated the 25th day of September, 1899, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 79, of 28th September, 1899.
