Bounded towards the north generally by Woolshed Stream; towards the east by a road reserve and Sections 26 and 41, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; towards the south generally by McQueen Road, Sections 7 and 8, Block XXIX, Town of Mackenzie, by a road-line, the same being produced to the top of the north bank of McQueen Stream; thence by that bank to the production of the east boundary of Robinson Street; thence along the northern boundary of the aforesaid stream to the production of the western boundary of Carroll Street; thence crossing the aforesaid stream and along the west side of Carroll Street and north side of Cadman Street to the Woolshed Stream.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 23 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 3170 (in red), situate in Block VII, Cheviot Survey District. Bounded by Cadman, Fox, Seddon, and Millar Streets; also that portion bounded by Seddon, Fox, Reeves, and Levin Streets, by the River Jed, and by Sections 73 and 72, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres and 8 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 3171 (in red), situate in Block VII, Cheviot Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section 74 and Reserve 3172; towards the east by Montgomery Street; towards the south by Homestead Road; and towards the west by Levin Street: also that other portion bounded towards the north by Sections 77 to 81 inclusive; towards the south-east by Homestead Road; and towards the west by Montgomery Street: Also that other portion bounded towards the north by Sections 82, 84, 85, and 86; towards the south-east by Section 83, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; towards the south by the Jed River; and towards the west by Homestead Road.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 109 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 3146 (in red), situate in Block VII, Cheviot Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section 27, Block IV, Cheviot Survey District; towards the east by Parnassus Road, by Section 4, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District, and again by Parnassus Road; and towards the south-west by Section 1, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 36 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Reserve No. 3174 (in red), situated in Block XII, Lowry Peaks Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Elizabeth Road; towards the north-east by Section 21, Block XII, Lowry Peaks Survey District, and the continuation of Stewart Road (south) to the crossing of the Spring Stream; towards the south-west by Sections 27 and 20 of said block, and by the road to the northward of Section 19 of said block. This reserve is subject to a right-of-way 25 links wide marked AB, and coloured green on plan attached, the said right-of-way being for the use of the lessee of Section 20, Cheviot Estate.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 3175 (in red), situate in Block XII, Lowry Peaks Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section 13, Block XII, Lowry Peaks Survey District, and by Section 8 of Mackenzie suburban lots; towards the east by Stewart Road; towards the south by Sections 9 to 14 inclusive, Mackenzie suburban lots; and towards the west by Section 16, Block XII, Lowry Peaks Survey District.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 3176 (in red), situate in Block VII, Cheviot Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Sections 24 to 28 (inclusive), Mackenzie suburban lots; towards the east by Ward Road and Millar Street; towards the south by Sections 29 and 32 to 36, inclusive, Mackenzie suburban lots; and towards the west by Stewart Road.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Reserve No. 3178 (in red), situate in Block VII, Lowry Peaks Survey District, being an irregular block of land having a frontage of 498·8 links to Ward Street, and distant from the corner of the Woolshed Road, 792·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 3823 (in red), Block 1, Town of Mackenzie. Bounded towards the north by Cadman Street; towards the east by Fitzherbert Street; towards the south by Seddon Street; and towards the west by Fox Street:
As the several parcels of land above described are delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1117/62A, 1117/62B, and 1117/62C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

WHEREAS by section fifty-seven of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, the Governor in Council is empowered to make regulations, as he thinks fit, inter alia, for the purpose of modifying and excepting the application of any of the Customs Acts to foreign parcels: And whereas by the Customs Acts goods cannot be delivered unless the full amount of duty due is paid: And whereas it is desirable to except from the aforementioned provision of the Customs Acts unclaimed foreign parcels sold by public tender:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section 57 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, and of all other powers in that behalf enabling him, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto, and doth declare that such regulation shall take effect from the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
UNCLAIMED PARCEL.
UNCLAIMED foreign parcels shall be sold from time to time by public auction to the highest bidder without reserve. The proceeds of such sale shall be applied in the first place in payment of the costs and charges of the sale, and in the second place in payment of the duties payable under the Customs Acts upon such parcels, and the remainder (if any) shall be paid into the Post Office Account and become part of the Post Office revenue.
