Declaring Otorohanga to Ouruwhero Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Waitomo County, Auckland Land District, known as Otorohanga to Ouruwhero Road, commencing from the Otorohanga Railway-station and passing generally in a northerly direction, adjoining or passing through the Otorohanga Township, Otorohanga E 4 and Otorohanga F 2 Blocks, Section 6A (reserve), 20 (police reserve), Otorohanga N 2 Block, Sections 4, 3, and 2, Block IV, Orahiri Survey District; Section 19, Block XVI, Pirongia Survey District; Sections 8, 7 (agricultural reserve), 6, Puketarata Blocks Nos. 4D 2, 4G 2C 2, 4G 2C 1, and 4G 2D 2A, Sections 13, 12, and 11, Block XIII, Puniu Survey District; Sections 2, 1 (cemetery reserve), and Ouruwhero No. 3E 4 and No. 3 E.S. Blocks, Block IX, Puniu Survey District; Ouruwhero, Pt. No. 3Y and No. 3E 1 Blocks, Block XII, Pirongia Survey District; Kakepuku No. 9B 5 Block and part No. 9B No. 4 Block, Blocks XII, Pirongia, and IX, Puniu Survey Districts; Section 92 (Crown land), Block IX, Puniu Survey District; again through Kakepuku, part No. 9B No. 4, Blocks XII, Pirongia, and IX, Puniu Survey Districts; Sections 5 and 6, Block V, Puniu Survey District; Sections 11 (school reserve) and 10 (cemetery reserve) in the said Block V to the boundary between the Waitomo and West Taupo Counties, being a distance of 11 miles 40 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34810, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Directing Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.

THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue an Order in Council directing the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto:
And whereas the said land is not now required for the public work for which it was taken, and it is desirable to sell the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the said land.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mackenzie Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the tenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seven, certain powers were delegated to the Mackenzie Domain Board for a period of seven years:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

to be the Mackenzie Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at 7.30 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Board’s office, Rolleston Street, Cheviot, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
MACKENZIE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods and 21 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 3152 (in red), situate in Block XI, Town of Mackenzie. Bounded towards the north-east by Rolleston Street; towards the south by Cadman Street; and towards the west by Fergus Street.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods and 14 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 3153 (in red), Block XIV, Town of Mackenzie. Bounded towards the north by Ward Street; towards the east by Montgomery Street; and towards the south-west by Rolleston Street.
