ALL that portion of Otorohanga to Pirongia Road, in the Waitomo County, Auckland Land District, commencing near Otorohanga Township at the junction with the Hauturu to Otorohanga Road, in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally through Otorohanga Q 2D Block, Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, and terminating at a point in the north-eastern corner of the said Otorohanga Q 2D Block, being a distance of 35 chains, more or less ; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34793, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Cook County, Hawke’s Bay Land District, known as Tutamoe Road, commencing at a point about 75 chains south-east of the north-western corner of Subdivision 6 of Waingaromia No. 2 Block, Block XV, Tutamoe Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally, passing through portion of the said Subdivision 6 and part Subdivision 5 of Waingaromia No. 2 Block, Block XV, Tutamoe Survey District, and terminating at a point about 6 chains from the boundary between the said Subdivisions 6 and 5 of Waingaromia No. 2 Block, being a distance of 81 chains, more or less ; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 35007, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

ALL that portion of road in the Canterbury Land District, Tawera County, known as the Springfield–Kumara Road, commencing at a point on the road opposite the south-west corner of the Cass Railway-station yard in Run 174, Block XIII, Hawdon Survey District, and proceeding in a northerly direction generally through the said Run 174, past the boundary of Sections 35426 and 9303, Block XIII, Hawdon Survey District, across the Cass River, to the south-east corner of Section 9151, Blocks XIII, Hawdon, and XVI, Bealey Survey Districts ; thence in a north-westerly direction generally along the eastern boundary of the said Section 9151, and through Reserve 379, Blocks XIII, Hawdon, and XVI, Bealey Survey Districts, until it meets the New Zealand Midland Railway on the south bank of the Waimakariri River at a point about half a mile west of its confluence with the Hawdon River ; thence in a south-westerly direction generally through the said Reserve 379 and Run 174, Block XVI, Bealey Survey District, and between Reserve 1313 and Sections 30017 and 30106, Block XVI, Bealey Survey District, to the western corner of the said Reserve 1313 ; thence in a westerly direction generally between Sections 31995 and 29488, and along the northern boundary of Sections 34588, 31153, 31152, 31154, across Broad Stream, through Run 174, Block XV, Reserve 394, Blocks XV and XIV, crossing Bruce’s Stream, and passing through Bealey Township between Reserves 2461 and 912, Block XIV, Bealey Survey District, to the south bank of the Waimakariri River ; thence in a north-westerly direction generally across the Waimakariri River bed and along the right bank of the Bealey River, passing through Reserve 378 and between Section 8487 and Reserve 423, Block XIV, and continuing through Reserve 386, Blocks XIV and X, Bealey Survey District, across Halpin Creek, and terminating opposite a point on the New Zealand Midland Railway line marked 40 miles 49 chains, being a distance of 13 miles 70 chains, more or less : as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34527, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue and marked A–B.
