Akitio County constituted a Special District under the Auctioneers Act, 1908.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the ninth section of the Auctioneers Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the area comprised in the Akitio County (being a part of the said Dominion which is sparsely populated) shall be a special district for the purposes of the said Act, and shall be known by the name of the Akitio District; and it is hereby declared that the amount of the auctioneer's license fee for the said district shall be ten pounds, and that the Clerk of the Akitio County Council shall be the Licensing Officer for the said Akitio District.

Closing Dannevirke Cemetery, Borough of Dannevirke.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it appears to the Governor that burials in the Dannevirke cemetery, in the Borough of Dannevirke, which said cemetery is described in the Schedule hereto, should be wholly discontinued: And whereas a sufficient cemetery not within the limits of any borough or town district has been provided, and has been prepared for the interment of the dead, as required by the Cemeteries Act, 1908:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Dominion of New Zealand, and in pursuance of the authorities vested in him by the said Cemeteries Act, 1908, doth hereby order and direct that, from and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, burials within the Dannevirke cemetery, in the Borough of Dannevirke, described in the aforesaid Schedule shall be wholly discontinued; and, further, that the said cemetery shall, from and after the said first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, be vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Dannevirke, under the provisions and for the purposes of the seventy-eighth section of the said Cemeteries Act, 1908.


SCHEDULE.

DANNEVIRKE CEMETERY.

ALL that area in the Borough of Dannevirke, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 35·6 perches, more or less, being Section No. 24, Block X, Town of Dannevirke, bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 13, Block III, Tahoraiti Survey District; towards the south-east by Section No. 27, Block III aforesaid; towards the south-west by Alexander Street; and towards the north-west by Dogmar Street.

Declaring Portions of Ngutunui to Kawa Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.

THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.


SCHEDULE.

ALL those portions of road in the Waitomo County, Auckland Land District, known as Ngutunui to Kawa Road, commencing at the junction with the Pirongia to Kawhia Road at western corner of Section 21 (education reserve), Block X, Pirongia Survey District, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through the said Section 21 (education reserve), Waiwhakaata Block 3E No. 1, Block XI, Pirongia Survey District, as far as the junction with the Hauturu-Otorohanga to Ngutunui Stream Road; commencing again at a point about 40 chains west of the eastern boundary of Waiwhakaata Block 3E 6 No. 4, Block XI, Pirongia Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through the said Waiwhakaata 3E 6 No. 4 Block, Crown land, Block XI, and Takotokoraha Block No. 3C 2, Blocks XI and XII, Pirongia Survey District; Section 1 (education reserve), Block XII, Pirongia Survey District; and terminating at the junction with the Otorohanga to Pirongia Road, being a total distance of 4 miles 36 chains, more or less: as the said portions of road are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34811, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked respectively A–B and C–D.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

ALL that portion of road in the Wairoa County, Hawke’s Bay Land District, known as Mangaone Road, commencing at its junction with Mangapahi Road, in Section 2, Block XIII, Nuhaka North Survey District, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally, forming the northern boundary of the said Section 2, Block XIII, Nuhaka North Survey District, and terminating in the north-eastern corner of Section 3, Block XVI, Opoiti Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 40 chains, more or less; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34623, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.
