773 links; and towards the north-west by a public road,
900 links: save and excepting the public road intersecting
the above-described area.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/19, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wel-
lington, and thereon edged red. (Plans 4000 and 7186, blue.)

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Hawea Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this second day of
November, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the
said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time
to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of
such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-
first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-
fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven,
a Domain Board was appointed to control the Hawea
Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the twentieth day of October, one
thousand nine hundred and fourteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

JOHN KANE,
WILLIAM KINGAN,
DONALD URQUHART,
MUNGO ALLISON,
JAMES MATHEW KERIN,
PATRICK JAMES MCCARTHY, and
JAMES ARTHUR DRAKE

to be the Hawea Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and
subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby
appoint Saturday, the twenty-eighth day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at three o’clock p.m.,
as the time when, and the Schoolhouse at Hawea Flat as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

HAWEA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 107 acres 1 rood 8 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 19, Block IV, Lower Hawea Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 2918
links; towards the east by Sections Nos. 16, 17, and 18,
Block I of aforesaid district, 3750 links; towards the south
by part of Sections Nos. 2 and 3, Block V, of aforesaid dis-
trict, 2918 links; and towards the west by Section No. 18
of aforesaid Block IV, 3750 links, and excepting out of the
above-described boundaries a railway reserve 100 links wide,
for which allowance has been made in the area: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. I/205A, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Bastings Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this second day of
November, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and

Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred
by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby appoint

JAMES BEIGHTON,
JAMES MILNE,
ALEXANDER McDONALD,
WILLIAM MILNE, and
JASON CARTWRIGHT

to be the Bastings Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and
subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby
appoint Saturday, the twenty-first day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at eight o’clock p.m.,
as the time when, and the residence of Mr. J. Cartwright at
Rae’s Junction as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

BASTINGS DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 14 perches, more or less, being
Sections Nos. 1, 2, 48, 49, and 50, Block I, Town of Bastings.
Bounded towards the north by Section 3 of said block, 250
links; towards the west by part of said Section 3, 14·7 links;
again towards the north by part of Section 29 of aforesaid
block, 338·1 links; towards the east by a street, 250 links;
towards the south by Horace Street, 552·9 links; and again
towards the west by the main road from Lawrence to Rox-
burgh, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less:
as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/78,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Mangapapa Town District not to be Part of County of Cook.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this second day of
November, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Governor is satisfied that the population
of the Mangapapa Town District, in the County of
Cook, exceeds five hundred, and the Town Board of the said
Mangapapa Town District has made application that the
said town district shall not form part of the County of Cook,
being the county within the boundaries of which it is situated:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers vested in him by the Town Boards Amendment Act,
1908 (No. 2), and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
order and declare that, on and after the first day of April,
one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, the Mangapapa
Town District shall not form part of the County of Cook.
