THE HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Helensville Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000 authorized to be raised by the Helensville Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the drainage and water works within the Town District of Helensville, the said Helensville Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-twelfths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Helensville Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable half-yearly on the 2nd day of April and 2nd day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Helensville Town Board held on the 18th day of October, 1913.

WAITARA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO RAISE A LOAN.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Waitara taken on the 14th day of November, 1913, on the proposal of the Waitara Borough Council to borrow the sum of £6,000 for the purpose of building and furnishing a town hall, municipal offices, and library, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 89, the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 111, and the number of informal votes was 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company held at the registered office on Tuesday, 18th November, 1913, a resolution was passed in accordance with the Companies Act, 1908,—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the said company, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provision of the Companies Act, 1908.”
