left bank of the Mokau River; towards the east generally by
Section 1, Block III, Totoro Survey District, 606·2 links, and
by the aforesaid road reserve; towards the south generally
by the aforesaid road reserve: as the same is delineated on
the plan marked L. 1911/1505a, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Millerton
Domain.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of
November, 1913.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the
said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time
to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of
such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the
sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and three,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighth
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and three, certain
powers were delegated to the Millerton Domain Board for a
period of ten years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the fifth day of October, one thousand
nine hundred and thirteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred
by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby appoint

JOHN MENNIE STEWART,
GEORGE LAWN,
PETER FINLAY McKAY,
CHARLES MOUNTFORD LINDOP, and
THOMAS SYDDALL WILLIAMS

to be the Millerton Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of
and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth
hereby appoint Saturday, the sixth day of December, one
thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at half past six o’clock
p.m., as the time when, and the Athenæum, Millerton, as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

MILLERTON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by
admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods 36 perches, more or less,
being Sections 142 and 263 to 279, inclusive, of the Town
of Millerton. Bounded towards the north-east by the West-
port Coal Company’s Reserve, towards the south-east by
Rodney Street, towards the south-west by Seymour Street,
and towards the north-west by Hardy Street; excepting the
Millerton Road, 1 chain wide, which intersects the land
included within the above-described boundaries: as the same
is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1015/55a, de-
posited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WEST MELTON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Reserve
No. 3789 (in red), formerly part Rural Section 5916, situ-
ate in Block XI, Rolleston Survey District. Commencing
at a point on the west side of the Rolleston-West Melton
Road, the same being distant 1005 links south from the north-
east corner of Rural Section 5916; thence bounded to-
wards the east by the said road, 1007·4 links; thence towards
the south, west, and north by other part of Rural Section
5916, 992·1 links, 1006·2 links, and 994·3 links respec-
tively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 1264/34a, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.
