Bounded towards the north-east by a public road 100 links wide along the Bay of Plenty; towards the south-east generally by a public road 100 links wide, the continuation of the aforesaid road along the Katikati Entrance; towards the north-west by Allotment No. 25, Parish of Katikati, 2345 links; towards the south-west by Allotment 25 aforesaid and Allotment No. 24 of the aforesaid parish, 8883·3 links; and towards the north-west by a public road 100 links wide, 284 and 920 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1151/50A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Paiaka Domain.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of October, 1913.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint any local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the thirtieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and five, certain powers were delegated to the Paiaka Domain Board for a period of seven years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

to be the Paiaka Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twelfth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the County Council Office, Ngaruawahia, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

PAIAKA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 22 acres 2 roods 8 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections 180, 181, and 182, Parish of Waipa (Block VI, Newcastle Survey District). Commencing at the south-east corner of Section 179, Parish of Waipa, and bounded towards the north-east by a line bearing 350° 10′, 508·9 links; towards the north-west by a line bearing 86° 54′, 1171·5 links; again towards the north-east by lines bearing 111° 4′, 906·5 links, and 170° 10′, 650 links; again towards the north-west by a line bearing 85° 9′, 1295·2 links; again towards the north-east by a line bearing 170° 10′, 551·9 links; and towards the south generally by a public road along the Paiakahauhau Stream, or Firewood Creek, 128·9, 257·4, 182·8, 132·8, 170·2, 299·1, 319·6, 120·3, 117·3, 237·4, 208·9, 312·4, 277·6, 381·6, 301·1, 137·8, 88·3, 251, 398·4, and 80·8 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 53336/13A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Dannevirke Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of October, 1913.

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE DANNEVIRKE BOROUGH COUNCIL

to be the Dannevirke Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Chambers, Town Hall, Dannevirke, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

DANNEVIRKE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 40 acres, more or less, being Section No. 12, Borough of Dannevirke. Bounded towards the north-west by a road for distances of 116 and 302 links; towards the north-east by Christian Street for distances of 881 and 558·9 links, and by Suburban Section No. 26 for distances of 600 and 93 links; towards the south-east generally by the Mangatera River; and towards the south-west by Suburban Section No. 11 for a distance of 3600 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1138/26A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
