Bounded towards the south by part of the Southland County, the Otautau and Aparima Ridings, being parts Oreti and Aparima Hundreds; towards the north-west and south-west by the Aparima Riding to the main Waikouro-Wairio-Nightcaps Road; towards the west (generally) by part of the said main Waikouro-Wairio-Nightcaps Road, part Hall and Gallahers Road, the Wairio Stream, and Section 38, Wairio Survey District; towards the north, west, and south by part Section 36, Block XXVIII, Wairaki Survey District; towards the west by Section 38, Block XXVIII; towards the north and west by Section 86, Block XXVIII; towards the north by road along northern part Section 87, Block XXVIII; towards the west (generally) by Small Grazing-run No. 10; towards the west and south-west by Small Grazing-run No. 9, all in the Wairaki Survey District; towards the north (generally), the north-west, north, and east by the Mararoa Riding, along the southern boundary of Dunrobin Station, the Jacobs River, and part of the Mararoa Riding boundary before described to the south-east angle of Section 186, Taringatura Survey District; towards the south and west by the Southland County to the starting-point.
Wairaki Riding.
Bounded commencing at the junction of the Waiau and Wairaki Rivers; thence towards the west (generally) by the Waiau Riding before described along the Waiau River to the junction with the Whare Creek; thence towards the north-east by the Mararoa Riding before described; thence generally towards the east by the Mararoa and Wairio Ridings before described; thence generally towards the south-west by parts of Aparima and Waiau Ridings before described to the starting-point.
I, John McNaughton, Chairman of the Wallace County Council, hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a special order passed at a special meeting of the Wallace County Council held on the 15th day of August, 1913, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 13th day of September, 1913. And I further certify that the said special order has been duly made in accordance with the Counties Act, 1908.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Fairfax Road, in the Town of Penrose Extension No. 3, of a Width of not less than 66 ft.

Notice fixing Closing-hours of Pork-butchers’ Shops in the Borough of Stratford, under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the pork-butchers’ shops in the Borough of Stratford, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the borough shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: At 1 p.m. on the statutory half-holiday, to wit, Thursday; at 10.30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and at 11 p.m. on Saturdays:
And whereas the Stratford Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the pork-butchers’ shops within the Borough of Stratford:
Now, therefore, I, William Ferguson Massey, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that from and after the 29th day of September, 1913, all such shops in the Borough of Stratford shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.
The varied notice gazetted on 13th February, 1913, fixing the closing-hours of all shops, with exceptions, is hereby superseded accordingly.

Notice fixing Closing-hours of all Shops in the Strath-Taieri Riding, in the Taieri County, under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the shops in the Strath-Taieri Riding, in the Taieri County, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all shops in the riding shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, at 6 p.m.; Thursdays, at 1 p.m.; Saturdays at 10 p.m.:
And whereas the Taieri County Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the shops within the Strath-Taieri Riding:
Now, therefore, I, William Ferguson Massey, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that from and after the 29th day of September, 1913, all shops in the Strath-Taieri Riding, in the Taieri County, shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.
The statutory half-holiday is on Thursday from 1 p.m.
