Education Board of the District of Grey.—Election of Members.
IN pursuance of the provisions of the Education Act, 1908, it is hereby publicly notified that at the statutory annual election of Board members held on 28th July, 1913, the following gentlemen were elected members of the Education Board of the District of Grey:—
Northern Ward—
JOHN WARD.
Eastern Ward—
JEREMIAH MCCARTHY.
Western Ward—
WILLIAM ROBERT KETTLE.
It is further notified that for the Eastern and Western Wards the candidates re-elected were the only ones nominated.
For the Northern Ward the votes recorded in favour of the several candidates who contested the election were as follows:—

Total number of valid votes, 40; voting-papers rejected as informal, 2.

IN pursuance of the provisions of the Education Act, 1908, it is hereby notified that the following retiring members have been returned unopposed as members of the Education Board of the District of Westland:—

JOHN JAMES CLARKE.
South Ward—
JOSEPH GRIMMOND.
In connection with an extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation of Henry Linklater, a member representing the North Ward, HENRY BECKWITH FORSTER was the only person nominated, and he is declared duly elected.

IN accordance with the provisions of sections 15 (1) and 24 of the Education Act, 1908, it is hereby publicly notified that the following candidates have been duly nominated for election as members of the Education District of the Board of Otago:—

Parker McKinlay.
As the number of duly nominated candidates in each case is equal to the number of persons to be elected, I hereby declare Messrs. JAMES MITCHELL, WILLIAM SCOTT, and PARKER MCKINLAY duly elected as members of the Board for the Northern, Central, and Southern Wards respectively.
