I HAVE the honour to inform you that the following members have been re-elected unopposed :—

North Ward—

Education Board of the District of Wanganui.—Election of Member to Extraordinary Vacancy.

IN accordance with section 24 of the Education Act, 1908, it is hereby notified that the following is the result of the voting for the election of one member to the extraordinary vacancy in the Central Ward caused by the resignation of Mr. J. P. Aldridge :—

Floyd, Peter .. .. .. 32
Harris, Thomas Abraham .. .. .. 197
Joblin, Arthur John .. .. .. 182

Total valid votes, 411 ; informal votes, 10.

I therefore declare THOMAS ABRAHAM HARRIS duly elected a member of the Board for the Central Ward.

IN accordance with section 24 of the Education Act, 1908, it is hereby notified that the following is the result of the voting for the election of three members to the Wanganui Education Board :—

Northern Ward—

O’Dea, Patrick .. .. 234

Valid votes, 306 ; informal votes, nil.

Central Ward—
David Henry Guthrie was the only candidate nominated.

Southern Ward—
Alfred Fraser was the only candidate nominated.

I therefore declare PATRICK O’DEA, DAVID HENRY GUTHRIE, and ALFRED FRASER duly elected members of the Board as representatives of the Northern, Central, and Southern Wards respectively.

THE following nominations have been received for the annual election of members to the Wellington Education Board :—

Hogg, Alexander Wilson.

As the number nominated does not exceed the number to be elected for each ward, I declare the above-named ROBERT LEE, WILLIAM HUGHES FIELD, and ALEXANDER WILSON HOGG to have been elected members of the Wellington Education Board as representatives of the respective wards.

IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1908, it is hereby publicly notified that HENRY JAMES HARRIS, Esq., JOHN DIEDRICH BEUKE, Esq., and EDWARD JOHN SCANTLEBURY, Esq., have been elected members of the Nelson Education Board, representing the East, Middle, and West Wards respectively.

For the East Ward the number of valid votes recorded for each candidate was as follows :—
