Altitude, 80 ft. to 100 ft. above sea-level. Undulating fern and manuka country intersected by small swamp. Clay soil on sandstone formation; fairly well watered by swamp spring. Distant three-quarters of a mile from Henderson Railway-station by good cart-road. There is a small drain 4 chains in length on section.

Matamata County.—Tapapa Survey District.—Okavia Settlement.

Weighted with £28 for improvements, comprising lean-to house 12 ft. by 12 ft., shed 19 ft. by 11 ft., and fencing.

Altitude, 500 ft. to 800 ft. above sea-level. Undulating to hilly land; 100 acres in grass, 150 acres undulating fern land, balance hilly land covered with mixed forest comprising tawa, rimu, rata, pukatea, &c. Soil of fair quality, well watered by permanent stream. Situated six miles from Matamata Railway-station by formed cart-road, and three miles from Okavia Post and Telephone Office.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

OUTRAM MARSHALL YOUNG

to be Trustees, in the place of Walter Blair, William Borrie, and Thomas William Owen, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Otakeho Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Thomas Herbert and Hugh Kearns, previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

to be Trustees in the place of Thomas Black and John Henry Coombe, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waikoikoi Public Cemetery, in conjunction with James Crawford, James McColl, William John Stark, Alexander Gray, John McNee, and William Spittle, previously appointed.

Appointing Anniversary Day a Customs Holiday at Patea.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section twelve of the Customs Law Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby permit the thirty-first day of March in each and every year to be kept as a holiday at the Customhouse at the Port of Patea as the anniversary of the foundation of the Settlement of Taranaki; provided that when the said day falls on a Sunday the following day may be kept as a holiday in lieu thereof.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.
