Staff.

Major Herbert Edward Pilkington, Royal New Zealand Artillery, to be Assistant Adjutant-General, vice Captain Robert Oswald Chesney, New Zealand Staff Corps, seconded. Dated 24th April, 1913.

Colonel James Robert Purdy, r.d., New Zealand Medical Corps, Honorary Physician to His Excellency the Governor, on completion of four years as Director of Medical Services, to be Director of Medical Services for a further period of one year. Dated 5th May, 1913.

The Regiment of Royal New Zealand Artillery.

Major Herbert Edward Pilkington is seconded for service on the Staff. Dated 24th April, 1913.

6th (Manawatu) Mounted Rifles.

Lieutenant-Colonel David Pringle, r.d., is granted an extension of two years of his period of command of a regiment, with effect from 1st June, 1913.

7th (Southland) Mounted Rifles.

Lieutenant-Colonel Edmund Robert Bowler is granted an extension of one year of his period of command of a regiment, with effect from 6th February, 1913.

9th (Wellington East Coast) Mounted Rifles.

2nd Lieutenant Melville Johnstone resigns his commission. Dated 1st April, 1913.

New Zealand Garrison Artillery.

Corporal Robert Gracie Milligan to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), supernumerary to the establishment. Dated 24th May, 1913.

3rd (Auckland) Regiment ("Countess of Ranfurly's Own").

Major Frederick Stuckey, from the Unattached List (b), to be Major. Dated 7th May, 1913.

7th (Wellington West Coast) Regiment.

2nd Lieutenant Terence Leslie Skerman resigns his commission. Dated 27th February, 1913.

11th (Taranaki Rifles) Regiment.

Captain John Laurence Short, from the 16th (Waikato) Regiment, to be Captain. Dated 6th May, 1913.

16th (Waikato) Regiment.

Captain John Laurence Short is transferred to the 11th Regiment (Taranaki Rifles), and to retain his present seniority. Dated 6th May, 1913.

New Zealand Medical Corps.

Charles Edmund Russel Rendle, M.R.C.S. Eng. (late Lieutenant-Colonel, Royal Army Medical Corps, Territorial Force), to be Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 24th May, 1913.

Lieutenant-Colonel Edmund Russel Rendle, M.R.C.S., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 24th May, 1913.

New Zealand Chaplains Department.

The undermentioned Chaplains (4th Class) to be Chaplains (3rd Class):—

The Reverend Harry Mason. Dated 14th March, 1913.

The Reverend Dr. Thaddeus O'Callaghan. Dated 6th April, 1913.
