North Ward.—All that area within the Borough of Maori Hill bounded as follows: By a road-line running from the south-western corner of Section 74, Block XI, North Harbour and Blueskin District, in a south-westerly direction to the south-eastern boundary-line of Section 44, Block V, Dunedin and East Taieri District; thence along the south-eastern boundary-line of Sections 44 and 45 of the said Block V in a north-easterly direction to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 45; thence along the southern boundary-line of Sections 79 and 75 of the said Block V to the south-western corner of the said Section 75; thence along the western boundary-line of Sections 76, 77, 60, 8, 1, and 2 of the said Block V to the north-western corner of the said Section 2; thence by a straight line in a north-easterly direction to the north-eastern corner of Section 72, Block VIII, North Harbour and Blueskin District; thence by a straight line to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 72; thence along the eastern boundary-line of Sections 72, 73, 74, 75, 44, 43, and 39 of the said Block VIII to the south-western corner of Section 35 of the said Block VIII; thence by a straight line in a south-easterly direction to the north-eastern corner of Section 28 of the said Block VIII; thence along the western and southern boundary-lines of Section 8 of the said Block VIII to the north-eastern corner of Section 25 of the said Block VIII; thence by a straight line in a south-westerly direction to the south-western corner of Section 17 of the said Block VIII; thence by a straight line in a north-westerly direction to the north-western corner of Section 10 of the said Block VIII; thence by a straight line in a south-westerly direction to the south-western corner of Section 15 of the said Block VIII; thence by a straight line in a south-easterly direction to the north-western corner of Section 13 of the said Block VIII; thence by a straight line in a south-westerly direction to the south-western corner of Section 12 of the said Block VIII; thence by a straight line in a south-easterly direction to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 12; thence by a road-line in a south-westerly direction to the south-eastern corner of Section 11, Block VIII, North Harbour and Blueskin District; thence by a road-line to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 18, Block I, Township of Glenleith; thence by a road-line to the south-western corner of Section 74, Block XI, North Harbour and Blueskin District, the place of commencement.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution duly passed at a special meeting of the Maori Hill Borough Council held on the 13th day of February, 1913, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Council held on the 13th day of March, 1913.

AMENDED SCHEDULE OF ABOVE SPECIAL ORDER.

North Ward.—All that area in the Borough of Maori Hill commencing at Swampy Hill, and thence bounded on the north by part of Blocks III and XII, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence on the east by part of Section 20 aforesaid, Block XII; thence towards the south-east generally by Sections 55, the crossing of a road-line, 58, the crossing of a road-line, 35, the crossing of a road-line, 8, 7, the crossing of a road-line, 5, 6, 14, 17, the crossing of a road-line, 10, the crossing of a road-line, 9, 50, 15, 13, the crossing of a road-line, and 12, Block VIII, aforesaid district, and by a line in continuation with the south-western boundary-line of said Section 12 produced to the centre of a road-line; thence by the centre of said road to the Water of Leith; thence by the eastern side of Water of Leith to a point in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section 74, Block XI, aforesaid district; thence across said Water of Leith, a road-line, by said Section 74, and the abutment of a road-line; thence towards the south-west by the abutment of a closed road, and by the southern boundary of a road-line running through Sections 47 and 46, Block V, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; thence towards the north-west by the crossing of said road, and by Sections 44 and 45, said Block V; thence again towards the south-west by said Section 45 and the crossing of a road-line; and towards the west generally by Sections 54, 55, the crossing of a road-line,

South Ward.—All that area in the Borough of Maori Hill commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 11, Block II, Upper Kaikorai Survey District; thence bounded towards the north-west by said Section 11, the crossing of a road, and by Section 4, said block; thence by a line across the district road to the southernmost corner of Allotment 6, being a subdivision of part Original Section 6, Block VIII, aforesaid district, and by said Allotment 6; thence towards the north-east by the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, being subdivision of parts Original Sections 4, 5, and part 6, Block VIII aforesaid; again towards the north-west by part of Section 4, said block, again towards the north-east by the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 29, 30, 31, 32, 15, 14, 7, and 6, Township of Cannington; thence towards the south-east by Dunedin Town Belt; thence towards the south-west by Section 7, Block I, Upper Kaikorai Survey District, across the district road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of said Section 7; thence again towards the north-west by the northern side of said district road, and again towards the south-west by the southern side of Wakari Road to the northern corner of Section 5, Block III, aforesaid district; thence across said road to the southernmost corner of Section 11, Block II, aforesaid district, being the commencing-point.

East Ward.—All that area in the Borough of Maori Hill commencing at the south-western corner of Section 74, Block XI, North Harbour and Blueskin District; thence bounded towards the north-west and south-west by North Ward, herebefore described, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 66, Block XI, aforesaid district; thence towards the north-east by said line, Section 66, the crossing of a road, and Section 65, said block; thence towards the south-east by Section 8, Block X, aforesaid district; thence again towards the north-east by part of Section 8, said block; thence again towards the south-east by Section 6, and by a line being in continuation of the north-east boundary-line of said Section 6 to a point in Section 4, Block VIII, Upper Kaikorai Survey District; thence again towards the north-west by a closed road (now called Section 475B), Block X, North Harbour and Blueskin District; thence again towards the south-east by Dunedin Town Belt; towards the south-west and again towards the south-east by South Ward, herebefore described, to the northernmost corner of Allotment 5, being subdivision of part of Original Section 6, Block VIII, Upper Kaikorai Survey District, and by Allotments 6, 7, 8, and 9, being subdivision of part Original Sections 6 and 7, Block VIII aforesaid; thence by a straight line to the southernmost corner of Allotment 51, Township of Woodend, and again by a straight line to the southernmost corner of Section 94, Wakari Survey District; thence again towards the north-west by said Section 94; thence again towards the south-west by said Section 94 and Sections 92, 90, 88, 86, 84, and 82, aforesaid district; thence again towards the north-west across a road-line to the south-western corner of Section 74, Block XI, North Harbour and Blueskin District, being the commencing-point.

West Ward.—All that area in the Borough of Maori Hill commencing at the northern corner of Section 51, Wakari Survey District; thence bounded towards the north-west by Section 59, abutment of a road, Sections 4 of 40, 3 of 40, and 2 of 40, Block V, Dunedin and East Taieri District; towards the south-west by the said Section 2 of 40 and Sections 2 of 38 and 61 of said block; again towards the north-west by Sections 4 of 49, 3 of 49, the crossing of a road, and Sections 2 of 50, 51, 1 of 52, and 53, aforesaid block; thence towards the north-east and south-east by North, East, and South Wards, herebefore described, to the northernmost corner of Section 5, Block III, Upper Kaikorai Survey District; thence towards the south-west and south-east by Sections 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19, Block III, aforesaid district, by Section 104, the crossing of a road, Section 10, the crossing of a road, and Section 51, Wakari Survey District, being the commencing-point.

I hereby certify that the above amended Schedule was approved of at a meeting of the Maori Hill Borough Council held on the 7th day of April, 1913.
