NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between JOHN HENRY BRUNS and EDWARD ERNEST THOMAS, carrying on business as Tailors under the style or firm of “Bruns and Thomas,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 19th day of December, 1912.
All moneys owing to the said late firm must be paid to Messrs. REYBURN AND McARTHUR, Solicitors, Security Buildings.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between us, the undersigned, trading as Ross AND MALLETT, has been this day dissolved. The business of the Partnership will in future be carried on by WILLIAM JAMES RUSSELL ROSS under his own name at the partnership premises in Customs and Nelson Streets, Auckland, and he will receive all debts payable to the late firm, and discharge all obligations owing by it.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between HENRI P. GIBBONS and THOMAS MAHONY, trading as “H. P. Gibbons and Co.,” Grocers, &c., has this day been dissolved by effluxion of time.
Accounts owing to the late firm will be received by Mr. GIBBONS, and all accounts not paid on or before 1st December will be placed in the hands of a collector.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Methodist Church Act, 1911, of the State of New South Wales, the Methodist Church Act, 1911, of the State of Victoria, the Methodist Church Act, 1911, of the State of South Australia, the Methodist Church Act, 1911, of the State of Queensland, the Methodist Church Act, 1911, of the State of Tasmania, the Methodist Church Property Trust Act, 1912, of the State of Western Australia, all in the Commonwealth of Australia, and the Methodist Church of New Zealand Act, 1911, of the Dominion of New Zealand, I, HENRY YOUNGMAN, of Brisbane, in the State of Queensland, Doctor of Divinity, President of the General Conference of the Methodist Church of Australasia, do hereby fix the 1st day of January, 1913, as the date on which the Annual Conference of the Methodist Church of Australasia in New Zealand shall be constituted an Independent Conference, and on which the independence of the said Annual Conference shall take effect.

RESOLUTION passed by the Buller County Council (bringing Part II of the Motor Regulation Act into force) on Wednesday, 1st January, 1913 :—
“That, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, the Buller County Council hereby resolves to bring Part II of the said Act into operation in the County of Buller on Wednesday, the 1st day of January, 1913.’’

MOTOR REGULATION ACT, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Rangiora County Council, by resolution passed on the 13th day of December, 1912, decided to bring Part II of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, relating to the registration of motors, into force in the County of Rangiora as from the 20th day of January, 1913.

UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1908.

To the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Blacks.
PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned, James McAdie and William McAdie, both of Poolburn, Farmers, being the holders of the license specified in the Schedule, hereby apply for a renewal thereof for a term of fifteen years, commencing on the expiry of the current term, subject, however, to the rights of Peter Flannery and Patrick Scott, both of Poolburn, Farmers, and Bryan Flannery, of Ophir, Farmer and Storekeeper.

WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Tramways Act, 1908, and of the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wallace County Council, being authorized and empowered by Order in Council dated the 18th day of October, 1911, to construct, maintain, and use a line of tramway along a route passing through Section 167 on the public map of the Wairoa District, propose to take, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of constructing the part of the said tramway passing through the said section. And further notice is hereby given that a survey has been made and a plan has been prepared showing the land required to be taken; and a copy of such plan has been deposited at the office of the Wallace County Council, Main Road, Otatau, and is open for inspection by all persons during office hours. All persons are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to such
