Trustee for the Lyttelton Public Cemetery appointed.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

WILLIAM THOMAS FOSTER

to be a Trustee, in the place of William Thomas Lindsay, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Lyttelton Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the Rev. John James Bates, John Richard Webb, George Laurenson, M.P., James Pitcaithly, Robert Hatchwell, the Rev. Benjamin Rothwell, and Frederick William Anderson, previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

PETER CHAMBERLAIN

to be Trustees, in the place of John McMillan and John Nairn, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Ellesmere Public Cemetery, in conjunction with John McLachlan, Andrew Anderson, William Nixon, John Barnett, Dr. Thomas J. Withers, Henry Phillips, Alfred James Inwood, and James Storry, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Land temporarily reserved for Quarry Purposes in Block III, Orahiri Survey District, Auckland Land District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for quarry purposes.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 35 perches, more or less, being Section 22, Block III, Orahiri Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east, north-west, and again towards the north-east by a public road, 91·2, 151·8, and 282·5 links respectively; towards the east and south-east by Section 11 of Block III, Orahiri Survey District, 197·8 and 400·6 links respectively; and towards the west by Section 16 of Block III aforesaid, 492·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 600/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 16327, blue.)

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Land temporarily reserved for a Public Cemetery in Block X, Hunua Survey District, Wellington Land District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section 48, Block X, Hunua Survey District, commencing at a point on the main road, 75·4 links, on a bearing of 226° 44′ from traverse peg marked XVIIIA, and bounded towards the east by the main road, 947·5 links; towards the south by Crown land, 536·4 links; and towards the north-west generally by the Main Trunk Railway, 515·5 links and 639·3 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1705/14, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Public School in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, Wellington Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Bounded towards the north-west by a railway reserve, 251·6 links; towards the north-east by Section 96, Hutt District, 1088·9 links; towards the south-east by Section 100, Hutt District, 246·5 links; and towards the south-west by Section 97, Hutt District, 1125·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5378/24A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being other part of Section 3, Block I, Rimutaka Survey District (formerly part of Section 96, Hutt District). Bounded towards the north-west by the main Hutt Road, 250 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 823·1 links; towards the south-east by a railway reserve, 251·6 links; and towards the south-west by Section 97, Hutt District, 787·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5378/24B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
