regulation, and doth hereby make the following regulation
in lieu thereof.


REGULATION.

  1. Fees for licenses shall be paid to the Department ac-
    cording to the following scale per annum :—
    For each vessel or boat plying for hire : 2s. 6d. per annum.
    For each master, boatman, or waterman : 1s. per annum.
    Every mechanically propelled boat shall be allowed one
    dinghy not exceeding 12 ft. in length, and the name of the
    licensed vessel shall be clearly painted on such dinghy.
    All other rowing-boats employed for hire or as ferry or as
    watermen’s boats shall be licensed as above.

Approving a Company under Section 22 of the Administration
Act, 1908.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of
January, 1913.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS it is provided by section twenty-two of the
Administration Act, 1908, that the security of any
incorporated company or guaranteed society approved by
the Governor in Council may be accepted by the Court as
the security required to be given by any administrator or
other person appointed to administer an estate under the
above-mentioned Act :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
before-recited power and authority, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Do-
minion, doth hereby approve for the purpose above mentioned
of the following incorporated company, namely :—

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Gonville
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of
January, 1913.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the
said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time
to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local
authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to the
said Act, control of any public domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-
sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fifth
day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the
land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the
operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of
Part II of the said Act :

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain
Board to control the said domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

THE GONVILLE TOWN BOARD

to be the Gonville Domain Board, having the control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and
subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act ; and
doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the fifth day of February,
one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at half past eight
o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Hall, Gonville,
as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall
be held.


SCHEDULE.

GONVILLE DOMAIN.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by
admeasurement 10 acres and 0·8 perch, being parts of Lots 6
and 7, Block II, on deposited plan No. 937, and part of Lot 8,
right bank of Wanganui River, and being all the land com-
prised in certificates of title, Vol. 132, folio 80 ; Vol. 137,
folio 104 ; Vol. 138, folio 38 ; and Vol. 146, folio 117, Wel-
ington.

Fixing Day for Payment of Income-tax.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-third
day of December, 1912.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority
vested in him under the Land and Income Assessment
Act, 1908, and the Land-tax and Income-tax Act, 1912, His
Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and deter-
mine that the respective duties leviable under the said Acts
by way of income-tax shall be paid in one sum on Friday,
the thirty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred
and thirteen.

And in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as
aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the place
where the said duties of income-tax shall be payable shall be
the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, at the Government
Buildings, Wellington, and that notice to the foregoing effect
shall be given by the said Commissioner accordingly.

Trustee for the Lepperton Public Cemetery appointed.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries
Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liver-
pool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint

FREDERICK THOMAS CROWE

to be a Trustee, in the place of William Brown, resigned, to
provide for the maintenance and care of the Lepperton Public
Cemetery, in conjunction with Thomas Wright, Francis Wil-
liam Atkinson, Edward Hellier, and Harper Bryson Lepper,
previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this second day of January, one thousand nine
hundred and thirteen.

Trustees for Te Puia Public Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries
Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liver-
pool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint

JAMES EDWARD CLEWS and
GEORGE WILLIAM GOOD

to be Trustees, in the place of Arthur Percy Durrant,
deceased, and Albert Edward Cowley, left the district, to
provide for the maintenance and care of Te Puia Public Ceme-
tery, in conjunction with William Painter and Charles Henry
McCracken, previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this second day of January, one thousand nine
hundred and thirteen.
