Situated in the town of Pongaroa, fronting Piwakawaka Street. Somewhat steep sideling land.

Situated in the suburbs of Pongaroa, having a frontage to Urupa Street, which is a formed dray-road. The section comprises easy undulating land, felled and grassed. Soil is of a clayey nature, resting on papa formation.

Opening Town Lands in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the town lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Wednesday, the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
Town Land.

Situated about a quarter of a mile from Rangataua Railway-station by formed dray-road, partly metalled. All flat land felled. Soil is of a loamy nature, on grit formation.

Situated about a quarter of a mile from the Rangataua Railway-station by metalled road. Flat land, all felled and in grass; swampy in places, but there is sufficient dry ground to build on. Soil of a light loamy nature, on grit formation. Elevation, about 2,200 ft. above sea-level.

Horopito West is situated on the Main Trunk Railway line. All the lots comprise flat land; felled. Soil of a light loamy nature, on a grit formation.

Situated on the main road, the access being from Horopito West Railway-station, which is about a quarter of a mile distant by metalled road. Flat or slightly undulating open land, with soil of a loamy nature, on a grit and clay formation.

Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Post-office in Matamata Township, Auckland Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a site for a post-office.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Lot 16 of Block VII, Matamata Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Lot 14, Block VII, Matamata Township, 100 links; towards the south-east by Lot 17 of Block VII aforesaid, 250 links; towards the south-west by Tui Street, 100 links; and towards the north-west by Arawa Street, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5926/2, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 13203, blue.)

Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Public Hospital in the Town of Ross, Westland Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Reserve 1470, Town of Ross, Block II, Totara Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Duff Street for a distance of 256 links; towards the north-east by Gay Street, a distance of 250 links; towards the south-east by Park Terrace, a distance of 256 links; and towards the south-west by Crown land, a distance of 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/1123, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
