Every license to carry on business as a land agent, issued under the said Act, shall be in the form No. 2 in the Schedule hereto.

The applicant shall, before any such license is issued to him, pay into Court the sum of £5, and the Clerk of the Court shall forthwith pay the same into the Public Account, and forward the bank-receipt therefor to the Under-Secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington.

In addition to the notice required to be sent to the Minister of Internal Affairs in pursuance of subsection (2) of section 5 of the said Act, the Clerk of the Court shall, within ten days after any application for a license has been heard and refused, notify the said Minister of that fact, and shall in such notification state whether the refusal to issue a license was based upon any informality in the proceedings or not.

Every application for the approval by the Court of the proposed transfer of any license shall be made in writing by the proposed transferee, in the form No. 3 in the Schedule hereto, and every such application shall have indorsed thereon the written consent of the licensee, or of his executor, administrator, or assignee in bankruptcy, as the case may be.

If the Court approves of the said transfer, it shall indorse its approval on the license, in the form No. 4 in the Schedule hereto.

(1.) All moneys paid into the Public Account under these regulations shall, in the first place, be credited to the vote of the Department of Internal Affairs.
(2.) The Under-Secretary of the said Department shall from time to time cause to be deducted from the amounts so received the expenses incurred in respect of licenses, and shall cause the balance to be paid in the manner prescribed by section 16 of the said Act.
(3.) The amounts so deducted shall thereupon be transferred to the vote to which Magistrate’s Court fees are credited.
- The obligee of every fidelity bond lodged pursuant to the said Act shall be His Majesty the King. The condition of every such bond shall be that if the land agent shall fail to duly and punctually apply all moneys received by him in respect of any sale of land in the manner required by section 8 of the said Act, or if the land agent shall fail to pay any moneys so received immediately after the receipt thereof into a trust account, then the obligation of the obligors shall have full force and effect.
