A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes
of a Native school in Block VII, Punakitere Survey District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to
be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land
for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed
and performed:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a
Native school; and I do also hereby declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of
December, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

SCHEDULE.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Pro-
vincial District.

is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for the purposes of an experimental farm at
Mamaku, in Blocks XIII and XIV, Rotorua Survey
District:

And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in
terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take
such land for the purposes of the said experimental farm:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation
taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of
the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes of the said experimental
farm; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of Decem-
ber, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
