THE following resolution, made by the Warkworth Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

WARKWORTH TOWN BOARD.
Resolution making Special Rate.
THAT, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £3,300, authorized to be raised by the Warkworth Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for building three concrete culverts on the Warkworth–Sandspit Road, for placing a ferro-concrete top on the Warkworth Bridge and increasing its width, and for forming and metalling the Warkworth–Puhoi Road, the Warkworth–Matakana Road, the Warkworth–Sandspit Road, the Warkworth–Dome Valley Road, and a deviation of Wilson’s Road, the said Warkworth Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅝d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Warkworth Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable upon the last Friday in January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Warkworth Town Board held at the Board’s office, Warkworth, on the 7th day of November, 1912.

AKAROA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Onawe Flat Road, Wharf, and Shed Special-rating Area of the County of Akaroa was taken on the 25th day of October, 1912, on the proposal of the Akaroa County Council to borrow £1,200 for completing the Flat Road, Wharf, and Shed at Onawe Peninsula, between Duvauchelle and Barry’s Bay.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 55; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 24; informal, 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

BOROUGH OF ARROWTOWN.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Arrowtown was taken on the 2nd day of November, 1912, at the Borough Council Chambers in Buckingham Street, Arrowtown, on the proposal of the Arrowtown Borough Council to borrow the sum of £1,200 for the purpose of the construction, formation, and enlargement of waterworks and reservoir or head dam and intake at Bush Creek, near Arrowtown, the construction, formation, and extension of the borough waterworks, the construction and formation of roads, streets, and footpaths and gutters, and all and everything relating or incidental to the foregoing.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 85. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 14.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice of Result of Poll on Loan.
In the matter of the Town Boards Act, 1908, and of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same respectively.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 7th day of November, 1912, a proposal was submitted by the Warkworth Town Board to the ratepayers of the Warkworth Town District for raising a loan of £3,300 for building three concrete culverts on the Warkworth–Sandspit Road, for placing a ferro-concrete top on the Warkworth Bridge and increasing its width, and for forming and metalling the Warkworth–Puhoi Road, the Warkworth–Matakana Road, the Warkworth–Sandspit Road, the Warkworth–Dome Valley Road, and a deviation of Wilson’s Road; and that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 35; against, 13.
I declare the said proposal to be carried.
