KAITIEKE COUNTY COUNCIL.

Resolution making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Kaitieke County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £600, authorized to be raised by the Kaitieke County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for widening, culverting, and building small bridges over portion of the Pukeatua Road, the said Kaitieke County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 11/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Pukeatua Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of Sections 1, 2, 3, and 6 of Block I, Kaitieke Survey District, and Sections 1 and 2 of Block V, Kaitieke Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Resolutions made by the Council of the Borough of Pukekohe.

THE following resolutions, made by the Pukekohe Borough Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £800, authorized to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of forming, grading, and metalling roads in the Northern Special-rating Area, and paying all engineering, advertising, clerical, legal, and banking charges and expenses incidental to the said forming, grading, and metalling of roads or incidental to the raising of the said loan, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Northern Special-rating Area, comprising all that area of land situate in the Borough of Pukekohe bounded generally towards the south-west, west, and north-west by the Pukekohe West Road District, towards the east by the Cape Special-rating Area, and towards the south-east by the late Pukekohe Town District and by Lots 78 and 79 of suburban Section 2 of the Parish of Pukekohe, across a road, and proceeding in a north-westerly direction and again in a south-westerly direction by Lot 96 of said section and parish, again across a road, and by Sections 105 and 102 of the said section and parish, again across a road to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 156 of said section and parish, and thence proceeding in a north-westerly direction and again in a south-westerly direction by the lot last aforesaid to the commencing-point; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I certify that the above resolution was duly made and passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council held on the 16th day of October, 1912.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,150, authorized to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of forming, grading, and metalling roads in the Hill No. 2 Special-rating Area, and paying all engineering, advertising, clerical, legal, and banking charges and expenses incidental to the said forming, grading, and metalling of roads or incidental to the raising of the said loan, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Hill No. 2 Special-rating Area, comprising all that area of land situate in the Borough of Pukekohe bounded towards the north by the late Pukekohe Town District, towards the east by the Hill Special-rating Area, towards the south-west by the Pukekohe West Road District, and towards the north-west by the Puni Special-rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly made and passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council held on the 16th day of October, 1912.

THE following resolution, made by the Moa Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

MOA ROAD BOARD.

Resolution making a Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loan Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and the New Zealand State-guarantee Advances Act, 1909, the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £150, being 10 per cent. additional on a loan of £1,500 authorized to be raised by consent of ratepayers interested, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of deviating, forming, and metalling the Upland Road on the north side of the Junction Road, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/11 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Upland Road North No. 2 Special-rating District, comprising Sections 69, 68, 33, 67, 70, Block XI, Paritutu Survey District; Sections 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 28, Block X, Paritutu Survey District; Sections 63, 64, 65, 75, 61, 62, 74, 76, 77, part 78, part 66, Block III, Egmont Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, and the interest and sinking fund to be paid at the rate of £5 1s. per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off, and to pay out of such loan the cost of raising it.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Moa Road Board held on the 19th day of October, 1912.
