The greater part of the area is flat, and the soil is patchy, some of it being good, the remainder light and gravelly. The land is dry, but has a frontage to the Molyneux River. Situated about a mile from Albert Town Post-office, a mile and a half from a school, and four miles and a half from Pembroke by good roads.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by the New Zealand Loan Act, 1863, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

The Honourable THOMAS MACKENZIE,

of Westminster Chambers, Victoria Street, Westminster, London, the High Commissioner of the said Dominion, to be a person to receive and invest the interest and sinking fund mentioned in and referred to by section nine of the said Act.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
