BOUNDARIES OF KIRIKIRIROA ROAD DISTRICT.

ALL that area in Waikato County bounded towards the north-west generally by the Mangawara Stream from the Waikato River to the easternmost corner of Section No. 439, Parish of Taupiri ; thence by a right line to the southernmost corner of Section No. 435, and that line produced to the county boundary ; thence towards the north-east by Ohinemuri and Piako Counties to the north-eastern corner of Tamahere Parish ; thence towards the south-east by Tamahere Parish to the Waikato River ; thence towards the south-west generally by the Waikato River to the Borough of Hamilton ; and thence by that borough and again by the Waikato River to the place of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF WAIKATO.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west by Franklin County from the middle of the Waikato River to the Firth of Thames ; thence towards the east generally by the Firth of Thames to the western boundary of Thames County ; thence by Thames, Ohinemuri, Piako, and Matamata Counties to the middle of the Waikato River ; thence towards the south-west generally by a line along the middle of the Waikato River to the Borough of Hamilton ; thence by that borough and again by a line along the middle of the Waikato River to the place of commencement : excepting the Borough of Cambridge and the Town District of Huntly.

Special Order made by the Wanganui County Council merging Kaitoke Road District.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order.

RESOLVED, That, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 31 of the Counties Act, 1908, the Wanganui County Council, on a petition of a majority of the ratepayers of the Kaitoke Road District whose property in respect of which they are rated aggregates more than half of the rateable property therein, resolves by way of special order that, on and after the 1st day of October, 1912, the said Kaitoke Road District shall be merged in the County of Wanganui and the Board thereof abolished.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wanganui is hereto affixed, in the presence of—

THE following resolution, made by the Karaka Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

KARAKA ROAD BOARD.

Resolution under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its Amendment.

THE Karaka Road Board hereby gives notice that at a meeting held on the 8th October, 1912, it was resolved as follows :—
That the Board make and levy a special rate of 9/16 of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Karaka Road District, as security for the interest and sinking fund on the loan of £6,000 to be obtained from the Government, in accordance with sections 108 and 112 of the Road Boards Act, 1908, section 48 of the Rating Act, 1908, sections 16 and 17 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act Amendment Act, 1910 ; such rate to be due and payable in one sum on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of the loan.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

Resolution making Special Rate.—Loan of £100.—Houhou Road.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of regrading the hill on the Houhou Road, and the cost of raising the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Houhou Special-rating District,
