the sea respectively shall, from and after the date to be fixed
in such Warrant, be under the exclusive care, control, and
management of such local authority as shall be mentioned
in that behalf in such Warrant ; and may by any such War-
rant as aforesaid fix and determine whether all or any, and,
if so, what part of the cost, whether theretofore incurred or
thereafter to be incurred, of maintaining, repairing, improv-
ing, or reconstructing any such bridge is to be provided and
paid by the local authority or local authorities, and, if so, by
what local authority or local authorities; and may by any
such Warrant as aforesaid direct how, when, and to whom
any such payment is to be made :

And whereas it is considered expedient to make provision
under the said Act for the purposes and in the manner here-
inafter set forth :

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in
me by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities
in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby direct that
the bridge known as the Awakino Creek Bridge, as described
in the Schedule hereto (and hereinafter referred to as “ the
said bridge ”), shall, from and after the date of this Warrant,
be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the
Hobson County Council ; and, in further pursuance and
exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, I do hereby
fix and determine that the cost of maintaining, repairing,
improving, or reconstructing the said bridge shall be borne
by the Hobson County Council and the Dargaville Borough
Council in the following proportions—namely, the Hobson
County Council shall bear fifty per cent. of such cost and the
Dargaville Borough Council shall bear fifty per cent. of such
cost respectively.

And I do also further direct that any contribution hereby
required to be made as aforesaid by the Dargaville Borough
Council shall be paid from time to time, in the proportion and
subject to the conditions hereinbefore prescribed, out of the
funds of the said Borough Council within a period of thirty
days after demand in writing made by and on behalf of the
Clerk of the Hobson County Council, and such payments shall
be made from time to time to the Clerk of that Council for and
on account of such Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.

THAT bridge over the Awakino Creek, situated on the bound-
ary between the Dargaville Borough and the Hobson County,
and at the end of Jervois Road, in the Borough of Dargaville ;
as the site of the said bridge is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 32391, deposited in the office of
Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Provincial District, and thereon shown by a red cross.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this nineteenth day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and twelve.

Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the
two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices
of the Peace Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

ALEXANDER MURDOCK MACRAE,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the
Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Mareretu, is authorized
to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-
hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the
Peace Act, 1908.

As witness my hand, this twenty-first day of Sep-
tember, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

of Hobsonville, to be the Returning Officer to conduct the
first election of the Commissioners of the Town District of
Hobsonville, County of Waitemata, as constituted by the
Town Board Act, 1908; also to appoint Wednesday, the
27th day of November, 1912, to be the date, and the Church
Classroom, Hobsonville, to be the place at which such first
election shall be held ; and also to appoint Thursday, the
28th day of November, 1912, at 7 o’clock in the afternoon,
to be the time, and the said Church Classroom, Hobsonville,
to be the place, at which the first meeting of the said Com-
missioners shall be held.
