NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.
WE hereby give notice that the Partnership hitherto carried on by us in Albert Street, in the City of Auckland, under the style or firm of “Noone and Trevarthen,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from this date.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that Mr. WILLIAM SPENCER WHITLEY, of Auckland, Gum-merchant, has sold to Mr. BENJAMIN EMRYS WILLIAMS, of Dargaville, Gum-merchant, as from the 1st day of September, 1912, all his interest in the General Storekeeping and Gum-buying businesses of “Williams, Marriner, and Co.” and “Williams and Whitley,” hitherto carried on by them at Dargaville, Maropiu, Babylon, Aranga, Flax-mill, and elsewhere.
Mr. B. E. WILLIAMS will continue to carry on the said businesses, and will receive all moneys due to the said firms, and will discharge all liabilities thereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, THOMAS BENNET, WILLIAM BENNET, and THOMAS BENNET, the Younger, carrying on business as Builders, Carpenters, and Joiners at Dunedin, under the style of “T. Bennet and Sons,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said THOMAS BENNET and WILLIAM BENNET, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style of “T. Bennet and Son.”

THE Partnership hitherto existing between SIDNEY TOWNEND and FRANK TOWNEND, as Sheep-farmers, of Mount Lawry, North Loburn, has been dissolved as from the 31st July last past. The business will in future be carried on by Mr. SIDNEY TOWNEND on his own account, and he will receive all moneys owing to and pay all moneys owing by the late firm.

In the matter of the New Zealand Springs (Limited).
A T an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the offices of Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Co. (Limited), Shortland Street, Auckland, on the 23rd day of August, 1912, the following resolutions were duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company also convened and held at the same place on the 10th day of September, 1912, the following special resolutions were duly confirmed, viz. :—
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.
“2. That Mr. W. W. WARNOCK be appointed Liquidator.”

In the matter of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1908, and of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the Wanganui Co-operative Society (Limited); and in the matter of a petition for winding up the said company filed on Friday, 23rd August, by A. BY an order made by WILLIAM KERR, Esq., a Magistrate of the said Court, in the above matter, dated the 9th day of September, 1912, on the petition of A. HATRICK AND AND CO. (LIMITED), GIBSONS AND PATERSON (LIMITED), T. H. RICE AND CO., and D. R. WALKER AND CO., it was ordered that the said WANGANUI CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY (LIMITED) be wound up by the Magistrate’s Court at Wanganui under the provisions of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1908.

BOROUGH OF ST. KILDA.
PURSUANT to section 39 of the Rating Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of St. Kilda taken on the 11th day of September, 1912, on the proposal that the system of rating in the said borough be on the unimproved value, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 420, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 248.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
