STANLEY BROOK.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, being part of Section No. 88, in Block V, Wai-iti Survey District. Bounded towards the east by a public road, 400 links; towards the south-east, west, and north-west by other part of the said Section No. 88, 350 links, 400 links, and 350 links respectively; and being all the land comprised in deed No. 38755, registered in the office of the District Land Registrar at Nelson.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eleventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Altering Sheriff's Districts of Auckland and Taranaki, and defining Sheriff's District of Hamilton.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by Proclamations dated respectively the twenty-third day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, and the first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, the Sheriff's Districts of Auckland and Taranaki were defined :
And whereas it is expedient to alter and redefine the boundaries of the said districts, and to define a new district :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the Judicature Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in that behalf enabling me, do hereby declare that from and after the first day of November next, the boundaries of the Sheriff's Districts of Auckland and Taranaki shall be as described in the First Schedule hereto; and I do hereby define the said districts to be Sheriff's districts under the said Act; and I do further define the district described in the Second Schedule hereto to be, on and from the first day of November next, a Sheriff's district under the said Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
THE SHERIFF'S DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.
ALL that area bounded towards the north and north-east generally by the ocean from Cape Maria van Diemen to Cape Runaway; thence towards the east and south-east by the Gisborne District as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 98, of the 29th November, 1906, to the eastern boundary of East Taupo County; thence towards the west generally by East Taupo and Rotorua Counties to the north-eastern corner of the latter county; thence towards the south and south-west generally by Rotorua, Matamata, and Piako Counties to the Borough of Te Aroha; thence by that borough to the River Thames; thence by that river to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of the Thames Borough Endowment in Block VIII, Waiota Survey District; thence by that road, the said Thames Borough Endowment, and the production of its south-eastern boundary to the Waiota River; thence by that river to its confluence with the Piako River; thence by the Piako River to the northern boundary of Waiota Survey District; thence by the said Waiota Survey District to the road at the easternmost corner of Section No. 2, Block I, Waiota Survey District; thence by the road forming the north-eastern boundary of that section and forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 2 and 1, Block XIII, Waihou Survey District, and Sections Nos. 6 and 5, Block XVI, Piako Survey District, the road intersecting Mangawhero Nos. 3c and 1c and Ngarua No. 1b Blocks, and the road forming the eastern boundaries of Sections 9, 8, 7, and 6, Block XII, Piako Survey District, and the road intersecting Ngarua No. 5a Block, to the south-eastern boundary of Waitakaruru No. 5b Block; thence by the south-eastern boundary of that block to Sec-
tion No. 502, Whangamarino Parish; thence by the north-eastern boundary of that section to Section No. 501; thence by the last-mentioned section to Waipuna Road; thence by that road and the road forming the north-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 188a and 333 to Section No. 279, Whangamarino Parish; thence by the last-mentioned section, the road forming its north-western boundary, the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Small Grazing-run No. 17 and Sections Nos. 57 and 58, and the road fronting Sections Nos. 61, 446, 235, 236, and 237 to the junction of roads at the southernmost corner of Section No. 322; thence by the road fronting Sections Nos. 323, 321, 393, 234, 233, 232, 231, 230, and 410, Whangamarino Parish, to the junction of roads at the south-eastern corner of Section No. 348; thence by the road forming the eastern boundary of that section to its north-eastern corner; thence by Sections Nos. 348, 347, 346, 345, 344, and 343 to the railway-line; thence by the railway-line to the road at the northernmost corner of Section No. 409; thence by the road forming the north-western boundary of that section to the north-eastern corner of Section No. 400, Whangamarino Parish; thence by Sections Nos. 400, 401, and across a road to the Waikato River; thence by the Waikato River to the ocean; and thence towards the south-west by the ocean to Cape Maria van Diemen, the place of commencement: including Great Barrier Island, Little Barrier Island, and adjacent islands.
THE SHERIFF'S DISTRICT OF TARANAKI.
All that area bounded towards the north and north-west generally by the Mokau River from the ocean to the north-eastern corner of Mapara No. 2 Block; thence towards the east generally by a right line to the Wanganui River where it is intersected by the 39th parallel of south latitude; thence by the Wanganui River to a point bearing 53° 54' 6" from the mouth of the Patea River; thence towards the south-east by a right line to the mouth of the Patea River; and thence towards the south-west, west, and north-west by the ocean to the mouth of the Mokau River, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
THE SHERIFF'S DISTRICT OF HAMILTON.
All that area bounded towards the north, north-east, and east generally by the Northern District hereinbefore described from the mouth of the Waikato River to the south-western corner of Whakatane County; thence by Wairoa County to the 39th parallel of south latitude; thence towards the south by the said 39th parallel to the Wanganui River; thence towards the west by a right line to the Mokau River at the north-eastern corner of Mapara No. 2 Block; thence towards the south-east and again towards the south by the Mokau River to the ocean; and thence again towards the west generally by the ocean to the mouth of the Waikato River, the place of commencement.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Consenting to the Auckland Electric Tramways Company (Limited) constructing Overhead Bare Feeder-wires along and across Roads in the Road Districts of Remuera and One-tree Hill.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS section twelve of the Tramways Amendment Act, 1910, prescribes that the powers conferred on the promoters of a tramway by clause eighteen of the Second Schedule to the Tramways Act, 1908, may be exercised for the purposes of the convenient working of any tramway in, over, along, or across any road upon the route of the tramway specified in the authorizing order, and also, with the consent of the Governor, and upon such terms and conditions as the Governor prescribes, in, over, along, or across any road not upon the route of the tramway, or any road in the district of any adjacent local authority: And whereas the Auckland Electric Tramways Company (Limited), (hereinafter called “the company”), being the promoter, through having the delegated powers of the local authorities for constructing tramways conferred upon such local authorities by several authorizing orders granted from time to time by the Governor in Council, under the provisions of the Tramways Act, 1894, and the Tramways Act, 1908, of various tramways in the suburban districts of Auckland, has applied for permission to suspend, construct, maintain, and use the overhead feeder-
