And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
His Worship the Mayor of Rangiora, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Rangiora County Council, ex officio,
The Hon. David Buddo, M.P.,
Charles Edward Skevington,
James Stokes Morriss,
Samuel Henry Griffiths, and
Nathaniel Barnard Archer
to be the Rangiora and Waikuku Beach Domain Board having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Rangiora County Council Office, Rangiora, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
RANGIORA AND WAIKUKU BEACH DOMAIN.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 305 acres, more or less, being Reserves Nos. 3224, 3710, and 3718 (in red), situated in Blocks VIII and XII, Rangiora Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the production in a south-east direction of the southern boundary of Rural Section No. 2931 to the road reserved along high-water mark; towards the east by the aforementioned road, a distance of about 50 chains; towards the south by a line at right angles to the general direction of the coast, about 19 chains; towards the east by the west boundary of the Beach Reserve, 20 chains distant from high-water mark; towards the south by Reserve No. 807; towards the west generally by Rural Section No. 34845, a road-line, Rural Sections Nos. 11318, 11316, 13758, a road-line, the stream forming the eastern boundary of Reserve No. 709, and by the road having a frontage on Rural Sections Nos. 17713 and 17716: save and except two roads and a drain reserve, each 1 chain wide, passing through the above-described area: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1210/3A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Exempting Roads in the Waikouaiti County from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of September, 1912.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the provisions of the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council:
And whereas on the thirtieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the Waikouaiti County Council, the local authority having control of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said roads:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.
SCHEDULE.
All that road in the Waikouaiti County, Otago Land District, adjoining or passing through Sections 5 and 11, Block VIII, Hawksbury Survey District.
Also all that road in the said county adjoining or passing through Sections 42, 43, 50, 51, 79, 53, and part of Section 41, all in Block III, Hawksbury Survey District.
As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 32186, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where a local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council:
And whereas on the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the Wellington City Council, the local authority having control of the portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said portions of streets:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution in so far as it affects the said portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
All that portion of street in the Wellington Land District and City of Wellington, known as Wellington Road, Kilbirnie, commencing at its junction with Kilbirnie Crescent and Hamilton Road, and running in an easterly direction generally for a distance of 8 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of street, known as Evans Bay Road, in the said land district and city, commencing at the end of the aforesaid Wellington Road, and running in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of 7 chains, more or less:
As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 32217, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.
