THE following special orders, made by the Eketa huna County Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate for building a Foot-passenger Suspension-bridge over the Mangatainoka River (£100).
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Eketa huna County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100, authorized to be raised by the Eketa huna County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of building a foot-passenger suspension-bridge over the Mangatainoka River, in the County of Eketa huna, the said Eketa huna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangatainoka River Suspension-bridge Special-rating Area, comprising Sections part 37 and part 37, Block VII, Tararua Survey District, in the Eketa huna County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Eketa huna County Council held at Eketa huna on the 13th day of July, 1912.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eketa huna has hereto been affixed this 10th day of August, 1912, in the presence of—

Special Order making Special Rate for forming and metalling a Road to be known as Te Aweawe Road (£800).
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Eketa huna County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £800, authorized to be raised by the Eketa huna County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling a road to be known as Te Aweawe Road, in the County of Eketa huna, the said Eketa huna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Aweawe Road Special-rating Area, comprising Sections Mangatainoka Jb No. 4, Mangatainoka K 2c, Lots 1 and 2 (part), Mangatainoka K 2c part Lot I, in the Eketa huna County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Eketa huna County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £260, authorized to be raised by the Eketa huna County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of building a traffic-bridge over the Otangane Creek, in the County of Pahiatua, the said Eketa huna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Otangane Creek Bridge Special-rating Area, comprising Sections parts 21, 8, 9, 11, 13, and Sections 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 12, Block XIII, Mangahao, also Sections 1, 2, 9, 4, Block II, Tararua Survey Districts, in the Eketa huna County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

CHRISTCHURCH TRAMWAY BOARD.
Notice of Special Orders making Special Rates.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Christchurch Tramway Board held on Monday, the 15th day of July, 1912, the following resolutions were passed:—
Resolution re Dallington Tramway Loan.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same, and the Christchurch Tramways District Act, 1906, and the Acts amending the same, the Christchurch Tramway Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,500, authorized to be raised by the Christchurch Tramway Board, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of constructing and equipping a tramway into the Dallington Tramway Special-rating Area, the said Christchurch Tramway Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property (according to the capital rateable value thereof) of the Dallington Tramway Special-rating Area, comprising all those portions of the City of Christchurch and the Heathcote County which were duly defined by the said Christchurch Tramway Board under the provisions of section 3 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, at a meeting held on the 22nd day of May, 1911, the boundaries of which were duly published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the 15th day of June, 1911; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-two years from the 1st day of October, 1912, or until the loan is fully paid off.
