SCHEDULE.
Land in Blocks III, Rangitaiki Upper, and IV, Awa-o-te Atua Survey Districts, taken for the more Effective Carrying-out of the Drainage and other Works authorized by the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and for the Better Disposal of Crown or other Land within the District defined by the said Act.
Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land Being Portion of Situated in the taken. City of A. R. P. Town Belt Wellington. WHERFAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, for the more effective carrying-out of the drainage and other works authorized by the latter Act, and for the better disposal of the Crown or other land within the district defined by the latter Act:
In the Land District of Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 21453, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial Wellington District, and thereon coloured red.
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the aforesaid purposes.

Land taken for Takapuna Post-office in Block III, Rangitoto Survey District.
(L.S.) ISLINGTON, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a post-office in Block III, Rangitoto Survey District:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinbefore set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said post-office; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
