Land in Blocks VIII and XI, North Harbour and Blueskin, and V, Dalmore Survey Districts, taken for Scenic Purposes.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, for scenic purposes:
And whereas agreements for the taking of the estate in fee-simple of the said land have been entered into, and it has been made to appear that such agreements are sufficient for the purpose intended to be effected thereby:
And whereas plans have been prepared in duplicate showing accurately the position and extent of the said land, and the Minister of Public Works has recommended that this Proclamation should be issued:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scenic purposes as aforesaid: and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land taken for the Purposes of an Electric-power Station in Miramar Borough.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of an electric-power station in the Borough of Miramar:
And whereas the Miramar Borough Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said electric-power station, and shall vest in the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Miramar as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Tramways Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for car-sheds in connection with the electric tramways constructed or to be constructed by virtue of the provisions of Orders in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and two, and the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and five:
And whereas the Wellington City Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the Public Works Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Tramways Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of car-sheds in connection with the said electric tramways as aforesaid, and shall, as from the date hereinafter specified, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington; and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
