In the matter of the Companies Act; and in the matter of the Waihi New Co-operative Society (Limited).

AT a general meeting of the above-named society duly convened and held at Waihi on the 14th day of June, 1912, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the above-named society duly convened and held at Waihi on the 29th day of June, 1912, the following resolution was duly confirmed, viz.--"That the business of the society be voluntarily wound up."

And at such last-mentioned meeting Mr. CHARLES BLYTH HARPER, of Waihi, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

WE, the undersigned, WILLIAM HERBERT LAMB and JAMES SMITH, hitherto carrying on business in Partnership in Karangahape Road, in the City of Auckland, as Ironmongers and House-furnishers, under the style of "Lamb and Smith," hereby give notice that the said Partnership has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the first instant; and as from that date the business will be carried on by the said WILLIAM HERBERT LAMB and CHARLES ALEXANDER LAMB in co-partnership, under the style of "H. and C. UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1908.

To the Warden of the Hauraki Mining District, at Coromandel.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908. the undersigned, the Moehau Granite Quarries (Limited), having its registered office in Union Buildings, Customs Street, East Auckland, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

Precise time of marking out privilege applied for : 27th June, 1912, at 5.10 p.m.

Date and number of miner's right : 20th June, 1912; No. 91528.

Address for service : C/o F. P. Burgess, Solicitor, Coromandel.

Dated at Paeroa, this 6th day of July, 1912.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Situated in the Moehau Range, Coromandel, commencing at a point on the Ohinewai Stream in the scenic reserve, and thence in a north-westerly direction to the works of the Moehau Granite Quarries (Limited), in Section 2, Block I, Moehau Survey District.

Pegs marked X, and numbered O to XII.

Length and intended course of race : About 1Β½ miles; course generally north-west.

Point of intake : One on the Ohinewai Stream.

Estimated time and cost of construction : Eighteen months; Β£1,000.

Mean depth and breadth : 12 in. pipes.

Number of heads to be diverted : Twenty.

Purpose for which water is to be used : In driving machinery for quarrying, sawing, and dressing Moehau granite.

Proposed term of license : Forty-two years.
