boundary of Purapura Native Reserve; thence towards the west generally by a right line to and by that boundary, and by the western and north-western boundaries of the said Purapura Native Reserve to its northernmost corner; thence by the abutment of a road and Section No. 238, Waiuku East Parish, to its westernmost corner; thence by Section No. 239, the abutment of a drain reserve, Section No. 234, the abutment of a road, Section No. 79, Waiuku East Parish, to its easternmost corner; thence by Section No. 17, Puni Parish, and the road forming its south-eastern boundary, and across a road to Section No. 3; thence by Sections Nos. 3, 16, 38, and 39, the road forming part of the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 40, by Sections Nos. 36, 34, and 32, Puni Parish, to the north-eastern boundary of Puni Parish; and thence by the north-eastern boundary of that parish to the southern boundary of Waiau Parish, the place of commencement.

Also all that area, being parts of Sections Nos. 3, 13, and 14, Pukekohe Parish, bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 82, Karaka Parish; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 2, 5, and 29, Pukekohe Parish; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 29 and 15, Pukekohe Parish; and towards the south-west by the Borough of Pukekohe.


FOURTH SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE PUKEKOHE EAST ROAD DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west generally by Karaka Road District as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 85, of the 4th October, 1900, from the easternmost corner of Section No. 82, Karaka Parish, to the middle of the Great South Road; thence towards the east generally by a line along the middle of the Great South Road to a point in line with the northern boundary-line of Section No. 1, Mangatawhiri Parish; thence by a right line to the northernmost corner of that section; thence by the said Mangatawhiri Parish and its western boundary produced to the middle of the Waikato River; thence towards the south generally by a line along the middle of the Waikato River to the south-western corner of Pukekohe West Road District hereinbefore described; thence towards the west generally by the said Pukekohe West Road District to the Borough of Pukekohe; thence by that borough to the north-western corner of Section No. 15, Pukekohe Parish; and thence by the north-eastern portion of Pukekohe West Road District to the easternmost corner of Section No. 82, Karaka Parish, the place of commencement.

Special Order made by the Anama Road Board, Ashburton County, making By-laws.

THE following special order, made by the Anama Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

ANAMA ROAD BOARD BY-LAW.

Special Order.

A SPECIAL order of the Anama Road Board making a by-law regulating the cutting of grass for seed on roads in the Anama Road District, made by the passing of a resolution at a special meeting of the Board held on the 3rd day of June, 1912, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Board held on the 8th day of July, 1912.

Resolved, That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Road Boards Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, the Anama Road Board doth hereby enact the following by-law, namely :—

  1. No person shall cut grass for seed on any road under the control of the Anama Road Board without the consent in writing of the said Board first had and obtained.

  2. Every person who shall commit a breach of this by-law shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding £10.

THE following resolution, made by the Kiwitea County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Parorangi Road Special-rating District.—Resolution making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Kiwitea County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £1,600, authorized to be raised by the Kiwitea County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming, culverting, and metalling the Parorangi Road, the Kiwitea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Parorangi Road Special-rating District, being Sections 284/288, 17, 23, 25, Block XIV, and 28, Block XV, Ongo Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, and be payable on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The cost of raising the loan and the interest for the first year to be paid out of loan.

It is hereby certified that the foregoing resolution was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Kiwitea County Council held on Saturday, the 15th day of June, 1912.
