Hamilton Survey District; thence towards the south-west
by a right line to the southernmost corner of the last-
mentioned section; thence by the south-western boundary
of that section and that boundary produced to the western
side of the Frankton-Tuhikaramea Road; thence towards
the west generally by the western side of the said road to
its junction with the Frankton-Whatawhata Road; thence
by the northern side of the last-mentioned road to the
Waitawhiriwhiri Stream, including Dinsdale’s Bridge;
thence by the said Waitawhiriwhiri Stream; and towards
the north by that stream to the place of commencement:
as the same is delineated on the plan marked 84, deposited
at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington; and thereon bordered red.

Defining Boundaries of the Borough of Pukekohe, County
of Franklin, Pukekohe West and Pukekohe East Road
Districts.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the Borough of Pukekohe are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the said borough being a new borough constituted by Proclamation dated the 28th day of March, 1912, made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and published in Gazette No. 28, of the 28th day of March, 1912.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the County of Franklin and of the Pukekohe West and Pukekohe East Road Districts affected by the constitution of the Borough of Pukekohe made by the said Proclamation dated the 28th day of March, 1912, are hereby defined as set out respectively in the Second, Third, and Fourth Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west generally by a line along the middle of the road forming the north-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 155, 166, 107, 108, 109, 110, and 111, Section No. 2, Parish of Pukekohe, and forming the north-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, and 104, Section No. 1, to a point 3 chains distant easterly from the road forming the south-western boundary of Allotment No. 136, Section No. 2; thence by a right line parallel to and 3 chains distant from the road forming the south-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 136, 137, 138, 139, and 140, Section No. 2, Parish of Pukekohe, to Allotment No. 141; thence by Allotments Nos. 141 and 130 and across a road to the southernmost corner of Allotment No. 122; thence by Allotments Nos. 122, 121, across a road, and by Allotments Nos. 116, 118, and 117, across and by the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 117, Section No. 2 aforesaid, to Allotment No. 299; thence by that allotment, across a road, and by the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 299 and 300 to the southern boundary of the Parish of Karaka; and thence by that parish to a point on the northern boundary of Section No. 3, Parish of Pukekohe, distant 20 chains from the north-western corner of that section; thence towards the east generally by a right line parallel to the south-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 3, 13, and 14, to Section No. 15, Parish of Pukekohe; thence by Sections Nos. 15 and 12 to the south-western corner of Section No. 14 aforesaid; thence by a right line to the westernmost corner of Section No. 9; thence by a right line to a point on the south-western boundary of Section No. 46, Parish of Pukekohe, in line with the south-western corner of Section No. 47 and the southernmost corner of Section No. 48; thence by a right line to the southernmost corner of the said Section No. 48; thence by Section No. 42 to its westernmost corner; thence towards the south-west generally by a right line to the easternmost corner of Section No. 53; thence by that section to its north-eastern corner; thence by a right line to the easternmost corner of Allotment No. 220, Section No. 2, Parish of Pukekohe aforesaid; thence by Allotments Nos. 220, 219, 218, 217, 216, across a road, by Allotments Nos. 212, 209, across a road, by Allotments Nos. 192,

188, across a road, by Allotments Nos. 174, 169, 168, 167, across a road, by Allotments Nos. 161, 160, 159, and 158, Section No. 2 aforesaid, and the north-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned allotment produced to the middle of the road forming the north-western boundary of Allotment No. 157; thence by a line along the middle of that road to the road forming the south-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 156 and 155, Section No. 2 aforesaid; and thence by a line along the middle of the last-mentioned road to the road forming the north-western boundary of the said Allotment No. 155, the place of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF FRANKLIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north generally by Manukau Harbour from the South Head of that harbour to the Pahurehure River; thence by that river to the south-western corner of Papakura Town District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 69, of the 17th August, 1882; thence by the said town district to the north-eastern corner of Allotment No. 16, Kerikeri Settlement; thence across a road, and by Sections Nos. 28, 29, 30, 228, 33, 34, and 171, Hunua Parish, to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section; thence by that road to Section No. 170; thence by that section to the Road Reserve on its north-eastern boundary; thence by a line through the said reserve to the middle of the road forming the southern boundary of Section No. 172; thence by a line along the middle of that road and the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 172, 173, and 174, Hunua Parish, to a point opposite the westernmost corner of Section No. 113; thence by a right line to the westernmost corner of the said Section No. 113, and by that section to the Wairca River; thence by that river to a point opposite the north-western corner of Section No. 86, Otan Parish; thence across the Wairoa River, and by the northern boundary of the last-mentioned section to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 85; thence by that section and Sections Nos. 84 and 82, Otan Parish, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 77 and 76 to the road forming the north-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 74A and 74B; thence by that road to the Kiripaka Block; thence by the western boundaries of the Kiripaka Block, Te Kawakawa No. 2, Te Kawakawa, and Waitawa Blocks to the sea; thence towards the north-east and east by the sea to the Pukorokoro Creek; thence towards the south generally by a right line across the said creek to the northernmost corner of Section No. 82, Koherca Parish; thence by that section to the Pukorokoro-Mercer Road; thence by the said Pukorokoro-Mercer Road to the Mangatangi Stream; thence by a line along the middle of that stream to its confluence with the Maramarua River; thence by a line along the middle of the Maramarua River to its confluence with the Whangamarino River; thence by a line along the middle of the Whangamarino River to the Waikato River; thence by the left bank of the Waikato River to the sea; and thence towards the south-west by the sea to the South Head of Manukau Harbour, the place of commencement: excepting the Borough of Pukekohe, hereinbefore described.

THIRD SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE PUKEKOHE WEST ROAD DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west by Waiau and Karaka Parishes from the eastern boundary of Puni Parish to the eastern side of the road forming the eastern boundary of Allotment No. 300 of Section No. 2, Pukekohe Parish; thence towards the east, south-east, north-east and north-west by the Borough of Pukekohe as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 28, of the 28th March, 1912, to the Main Trunk Railway line; thence towards the east generally by that railway-line to the Otutainui Stream; thence by that stream to its confluence with the Whakapipi Stream; thence by that stream and the railway-line to the northernmost corner of Section No. 4, Tuakau Parish; thence by Sections Nos. 4 and 3, Tuakau Parish, and the production of the north-western boundary of the last-mentioned section to the middle of the road forming its south-western boundary; thence by a line along the middle of that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section No. 1, Tuakau Parish; thence by a right line to the northernmost corner of Section No. 1 aforesaid, and by that section to its southernmost corner; thence by a right line running due south to the middle of the Waikato River; thence towards the south generally by a line along the middle of the Waikato River to a point in line with the south-western
