SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section 4, Block XI, Maungaru Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 3, Block XI, Maungaru Survey District, 1280 links; towards the south-east by Mangarata Block, 500 links; towards the south-west by a landing reserve, 811·2 links; and towards the north-west by a road along the Wairoa River, 583·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1037, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple. (Auckland Plan 16602, blue.)

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land temporarily reserved as an Endowment for Secondary Education in Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marlborough Land District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Marlborough Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written as an endowment for secondary education.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 24 acres 1 rood 37 perches, more or less, being Section No. 17, Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 77, Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, 3196·8 links; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 6 and 7 of Block VII, 1714·4 links; towards the south by Section No. 70, said Block VII, 1794 links; and towards the west by Section No. 39, Block VI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, 977 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 20109/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Trustee for the Kaikoura Suburban Public Cemetery appointed.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

HENRY MACKLE

to be a Trustee, in the place of William Smith, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Kaikoura Suburban Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the Rev. William McAra and Joseph Nicholas Flower, previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Notifying Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Opening Settlement Lands in Canterbury Land District for Selection.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Monday, the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.
