TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1908, the Council of the County of Taranaki, to accede to the prayer of the petitioners of the Waiwakaiho Road District, hereby resolves that the Waiwakaiho Road Board be dissolved, and the area of the said road district be merged into the county, as from the 4th day of June, 1912.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taranaki was affixed hereto by the Chairman, Joseph Brown, duly authorized by resolution of the Council passed on the 4th day of June, 1912.

THE following resolutions, made by the Raglan County Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.
Resolutions authorizing Raisure of Loan of £2,000 over Te Akau-Ruakiwi Special-rating District, and striking Special Rate over Te Akau-Ruakiwi Special-rating District as Security for Loan of £2,000.
Resolution No. 1.
RESOLVED that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Counties Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and amendments thereto, and all other Acts in that behalf enabling, and in particular the powers vested in it by section 15 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and by subsection (2) of section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Te Akau-Ruakiwi Special-rating District, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers of the said special-rating district the capital values of whose properties as appearing on the valuation roll of the said district is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves: That, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Ruakiwi Landing Road from the said landing towards Te Akau, in the Te Akau-Ruakiwi Special-rating District of the said county, the Raglan County Council hereby authorizes the raisure of a loan of £2,000, at a rate of interest of £5 per centum per annum, together with an additional sum of £1 per centum per annum with which to provide the necessary sinking fund, for a period of thirty-five years, and declares that the cost of raising the loan shall, if necessary, be payable out of the moneys so raised.
Resolution No. 2.
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Raglan County Council, under the provisions of the Counties Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and amendments thereto, and all other Acts in that behalf enabling, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Ruakiwi Landing Road from the said landing towards Te Akau, in the Te Akau-Ruakiwi Special-rating District of the said county, the Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Akau-Ruakiwi Special-rating District.
The boundaries of the said special-rating district are as follows: Commencing at the coast-line at the north-west corner of Section 1 of Block VI, Whaingaroa Survey District; thence along the northern boundaries of Sections 1, 5, 7, 8, 9 of Block VI, and Sections 1, 2, 3 of Block VII, to the north-east corner of Section 3 of Block VII; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 3 to the north-west corner of Section Lot 2 of 83; thence along the northern boundaries of Sections Lot 2 of 83, 82b No. 3, 82b No. 1, and 82A to the block-line at the north-west corner of Section 183; thence taking in 100 acres of Section 183, and running south along the eastern boundaries of the said 100 acres of Section 183 and Section 82A to the south-east corner of Section 82A; thence along the southern boundaries of Sections 82A, 82B No. 1, 82B No. 3, Lot 2 of 83 to the south-west corner of Lot 2 of 83; thence south along the eastern boundaries of Sections 4, 8, 9 of Block VII and Section 4 of Block X to the north-west corner of Section 78; thence along the northern boundaries of Sections 78 and 131 to the north-east corner of Section 131; thence south along the eastern boundaries of Sections 131 and 134 to the south-east corner of Section 134; thence along the southern boundary of same section and the eastern boundary of Section 130 to the south-east corner of Section 130; thence west and north along the southern and western boundaries of Sections 56, 25, and 120 to the south-east corner of Section 5 of Block X, Whaingaroa Survey District; thence west along the southern boundaries of Sections 5 and 2 of Block X and Sections 5 and 2 of Block IX to the coast-line; thence following the coast-line due north to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year
